I was hyped for this when it first released on psone as it was marketed as a spiritual successor to my favourite game The Chaos Engine.

It was pretty awful gameplay wise and I struggled to complete it, but it had a very strong and intriguing aesthetic much like shadowman, id be tempted to get it if this happened

this looks like killing floor, if its got a decent solo I might get this

i love depictions of hell, actually quite keen to play this despite its horrible reception. Heck, FE regularly put their games on sale, so its not gonna hurt too bad to at least try it...

I wonder on reflection if this pricing is a sneaky ploy, with so many devs putting their games on sale at amazingly high reductions maybe the plan is to retail at £40 then put it on sale at 75% off and watch folks leap on “amazing value”? Idk, £40 seems criminal...

The sale list is wrong, there are LOADS more games on sale atm 😳, some on the list arent in the eshop and some of the prices arent the same on the eshop (eg 911 operator is 10% off not 93%.

This is only a good thing, it paves the way for more people to get in on the action. The lack of TV out is a deal breaker for me, but I imagine there are tonnes of folks who would prefer this dedicated handheld version.

If it were just a smaller version of the switch i think there would be less argument for it’s existence - by making it markedly different and cheaper is smart imho.

@Fake-E-Lee I prefer it to MC. There's a crapton more items, more biomes, more focused endgame (lots of bosses). Some say its hard to play on console, ive had it on ps4, vita and 3ds... it was supposedly going to be a launch title and one of the games I bought my switch for in the first place. It feels like binding of isaac in terms of content.

The switch to 2d doesnt detract from the building possibilities, and to be honest, the restrictions imposed by only having two dimensions go in its favour by forcing more focused, tight designs with less fluff.

I wholeheartedly recommend it. It is a fair bit more expensive than it is on other consoles, Im happy to pay up for it, but you might wanna check out a couple of youtube vids just to be 100 sure.

If you like the rpg aspects of minecraft, this will scratch an itch you couldnt previously reach.

Just popped down to screwfix to buy some wd40 electrical contact cleaner, my joycons have been unusable for months with extreme drift. The moment i sprayed under the flap it was almost back to brand new, the left joycon isnt 100% fixed but this has made them like almost new.

Hopefully it lasts, but damn that was impressively quick acting stuff....
