Just had a second crash, had killed the mothership and was on 25million highscore. At least I unlocked that darn 5th ship as well and that saved. Thats harsh... hopefully this gets fixed 😬

@rockodoodle the tutorial is nicely done and prepares you adequately with all the moves you need to learn. Given that its comprised of random rooms, there are difficulty spikes, but the overall progression does mean you get stronger as well as getting more familiar with the mechanics. Takes a while for the controls to gel, but overall pretty enjoyable getting to grips with it all.

All puns aside, just looked at the videos of these on the iOS app store, they look pretty compulsive and deep despite the casual appearance. Actually quite tempted by these, if theyre not stupidly priced much higher than the tablet versions ill definitely snap these up.

I love BOI and ETG... im sure this is of equal quality, but I dont think I would get on with being forced to play to a set pace. Is this any good when playing silently? I play my switch sometimes while my baby daughter rests on my lap/chest...

The 3ds games were fun and competent alternatives to trials, this is pretty cool news.

Very keen on this since PT/silent hill got cancelled, looks similar in some respects. Hopefully its enjoyable for at least a second playthrough, no problem with short games if i can genuinely enjoy them all over again...

@Fake-E-Lee Is there scope for replay in this game? I like my TD games with multiple difficulties and plenty of maps, and is there a fair amount of upgrade options?

Cheers for the replies, kinda drawn to the first one more atm given its reduced size and price. Wondering if its like the difference between Resident evil revelations 1&2... 2 was more of everything & better looking yet people mostly seem to prefer the original as a whole despite the sequels' improvements.

Still unsure if B1 is as good as B2 or if I should just go for the sequel. Also what is either games’ length/replay value? How big are the games if I download them?

One of the finest games on the eshop, love everything about it. Awesome music, quirky yet appealing graphics, tight gameplay with great level design and oodles of content.

And those performance issues? They fixed those first right?

Such a fantastic game, saturated in quality and atmosphere. Punishingly demanding but rather rewarding, its the kind of indie I bought my switch for. Along with EtG and BOI this is one I will lose countless hours in.

Double dipped, but already loving it much more on this awesome console...

Bought Earth Wars blindly knowing nothing about it, what a lovely surprise. Reminds me of vanillaware games, seems very content rich and stylish. Excellent value for money!
