Shakedown: Hawaii is now just days away from launching on Nintendo Switch and Vblank Entertainment has shared a brand new trailer to keep our hype levels at their maximum.
That's right, the successor to Vblank's retro parody Retro City Rampage will be bringing its chaotic, ultra-violent action to Switch on 7th May. A 3DS release is also in the works, but that edition apparently "needs a little more time" before hitting digital shelves. PS Vita owners are set to receive a physical version, which is sadly missing on Nintendo platforms, but the Switch eShop page for the game is now live if you fancy taking a look.
We've shared this second trailer before, but you can get a good look at the gameplay itself in this video below.
Are you excited for this one arriving next week? Will you be downloading a copy? Tell us below.

If there are any other Vita fans our there... It's coming to Vita too, and it's Cross Buy with the PS4 version.
Really enjoyed Retro City Rampage so been looking forward to this one.
The graphical work is fantastic.
I don't like the type of game but I admire the quality of the visuals.
Very excited for this title!
Too muchs games on the Wish list... too much on the backlog, too much on steam...
But this one shines!
Thanks for not mentioning the physical release, that will be coming to Switch and PS4:

"So, yes, Shakedown: Hawaii will see limited physical editions for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, right from Vblank. You won't need to double dip with digital then physical (unless you want to!), however, the PS4 and Nintendo Switch physical versions won't be available at launch."
Vita means life! Woohoo!
Does anyone no the price ?
Reminds me a lot of the old schools GTA's.
Cannot wait for this
@gungho_trucker Love how people gave you thumbs-down for that comment. Heaven forbid you play any multi-platform game on something other than Switch, eh?
That's probably how I'll be getting the game myself seeing as there's always the perks of trophies and better game-capture capabilities on top of the cross-buy deal. Retro City Rampage was one of my favorite Wii Shop Channel games and among the last I purchased on that platform so I'm excited to get my hands on this next week.
@Mgene15 $20 according to the site. A bit more than I remember Retro City Rampage being, but I'm sure it'll be worth it considering the talent behind it. To this day, RCR is still better than a good chunk of indie efforts in my opinion and I expect this game to be of similar quality.
I've never played Retro City Rampage should I consider buying it before I get this game?
What i will do to this bad boy for making me wait like forever 😁😁
@Reigestugatensho yes.
I cant wait for physical release of Shakedown: Hawaii on Nintendo Switch.
