I found it to be a pretty good alternative to Spelunky, its got a rather ominous uphill battle to get a look in given the vast number of roguelites out there but its quite charming and good fun to play. Better than the graphics suggest it is.

You had me at 10tons, love their games. The trailer looks pretty awesome too.

Not too familiar with this Pachter fella, but it seems the consensus here is that he has an abnormally high number of wrong opinions.

Why are folk listening to him?

In an alternate universe everyone is complaining about the lack of releases on the eshop. Sure, if there were 20 palm reading apps or sock arranging sims every week I could see grounds for complaint, but personally I love how many games the switch is being graced with and if we are all honest, roguelikes only form a small fraction of the whole switch library.

It has very good reviews on steam, so im interested to at least see what the switch review sites have to say before condemning it.
