I never paid any attention to Doom 2016 or Wolfenstein until they were announced for Switch. Now I’m really into both series and play Doom Eternal on Xbox. I honestly don’t know how Doom Eternal will play well on Switch or be as enjoyable. I know they surprised us before. But I don’t think I’d double dip for it.

I want to see if someone will make a sleeve or case for these. It seems like a given they will make more of these too. Like for Zelda and Metroid.

Does it drop at midnight?

I would be pissed. I've tried so hard to like Link's Awakening. But I'm just not really that into it. Maybe because I didn't play the original GameBoy game. I always wanted it, especially when it came out for GameBoy Color. But that would be a huge let down and leap backwards.

This has to be a game that has been on the shelf for some years and decided that it would only sell with the Contra name on it. None of the enemies look like they came from Contra. It’s like what they did for Mario Bros 2 back in the day.

I saw the thumbnail and got excited that Batman was coming to Switch.

@Nesstephan I’m with you. It really should have Contra 4 and any of the others it’s missing. I could do without the multiple versions of the basically same game.

I’m also not big on the arcade versions of the games. The NES games are way better in my opinion.

This was my first Game Boy game. Playing it again on the Switch is awesome.

Do what they want to make it more powerful. But hopefully it’s completely backwards compatible and uses the same controllers.

@SquashyCat right it says you can lend that pass out to one person at a time and they get the full benefits of the game. You can use it as many times as you want. But just one person at a time.

Is the full game on a game Card? The cover art doesn’t say a SD card is required or not?

I don’t they think it would benefit as much by doing that. It’s not like it has a cd drive that eats up battery like the PSP did. It wouldn’t be as consumer friendly to do it.

@datamonkey life isn’t fair. Like I said maybe they added motion controls or nothing at all. They’re probably over charging because it’s Capcom. But also like I said, everyone is all geeked out about a Zelda remake and want it at no matter the cost. I’d be more willing to pay $60 for the two RE games over that.

Capcom announces two RE remakes for $60. Everyone loses their minds because it’s cheaper on other systems and or the digital only versions of two of the games upset them. Maybe it’s the “Switch tax” and maybe they added in some things. You all cry about digital only games and yet are excited about a 1TB micro SD card coming out soon.

I’ve been playing mine a lot the last week and a half. Just picked up Samus Returns.

Maybe it will have Bluetooth headphone support, microphone, higher resolution screen and I don't know what else. You'd think there would be some improvements to entice people to buy it other than just the smaller size.

This is dumb. If anyone is seriously having to contemplate paying $20 a year for this can’t be serious. I’m not trying to argue that it’s the greatest feature rich service. But it’s $20 and you knew this from the start that online would eventually be a paid for service. From day one of the Switch this was made known.

@TheLobster I’m one of those holding out for the Switch version. It was cheap around Christmas for Xbox but I still passed to wait. I bet it sells well here.

I’m glad I was late to this game. Got it on sale and used some gold coins to get it at $12.
