As for Steam Deck who cares. Goddamn pirate machine. Some people here glorify pirating and want Nintendo go bankrupt. I just have this to say: go away. We don't want you here. You hate Nintendo and still keep on posting crap on this site. It's nothing more than trolling at this point.

Where did you get the info that Portal games are the most critically acclaimed games of all time?

According to review aggregators metacritic and OpenCritic that honor goes to Ocarina of Time and Mario Odyssey respectively.

I always found these games highly overrated. Create portals in a set of rooms that all look the same. Playtime a few hours.

I have no idea why some people say these games are one of the GOATs.

Half Life 2 on the other hand was genuinely better than most shooters.

Sunbreak really feels as large as the original game. To me it was and still feels like a must buy if you like the series.

Sunbreak has 17 new monsters and the old ones have new moves, but we have to remember they'll be adding more on top of it.

Of course there's also new silkbind moves changing how you use your weapon, quests, follower quests and areas... to me it has been a satisfying DLC and I've played it tens and tens of hours.

Edit: name one other game outside of mmorpgs where the DLC is as big as the base game

I don't think there's much to explore in that arena stage. It's probably just a second arena-type of level in the game as its name implies.

Skyrim was a ps3/ x360 game originally. The Switch is more powerful than those so why is it strange it can run it easily?

I think it was either Anarchy for C64, or possibly Jet Set Willy or that Karate game for Amstrad. My first Nintendo game was either Super Mario Bros 2 or Mega Man 2 I think.

DLC for the sake of DLC. I'm gonna pass all of it and get the base game only.

Reminds me of the dlc story content Future Connected for XB def. It was completely unnecessary. I feel the developers wasted their time by adding such a boring and meaningless story on top of the great main story.

Looks generic. Starting to get bored of these OOT unreal videos... most of them are quite lackin artistically speaking. It's just a lot of clutter and details here and there

MK 8 Wii U. Because the game had actual unlockables unlike the deluxe edition. I have no idea why they made single player game obsolete in that one.

That being said, MK Wii is my most played game in the series. The bikes were awesome. Maybe it's no.1 after all.

No way. It looks dated, the controls are not that good and most notably it lacks online play.

The best Mario Kart is either 8 or Wii.

Same goes to most other review outlets. Obviously first party Nintendo games get good reviews because they deserve them.

QUESTION TO REWIEVER:
Does the game contain a casual mode that can be turned on or off at any point? Does it contain sliders that you can use to weaken enemies? To me, these would be a big minus so I would like to know.

Without these functions, Xenoblade series for me is the new Final Fantasy, since Square Enix no longer knows how to make a good FF game, thanks to the abscense of Hironobu Sakaguchi.

I guess I have to get this game after all. Just gotta turn the possible baby modes off right from the start and then just pretend they don't exist.

WW, SS and BotW are the best looking Zelda games with their timeless art styles. From these, BotW is the best looking one by a large margin.

The game would be just as good without this effort, but its still nice they did it

From the trailer I noticed you can create a red line showing you the way. This line is real time on the game screen, not in the map. Great way to ruin exploration.

What's the point of asking npcs help to find your quest objective if the game just blatantly shows you where to go with a damn line? Imagine if BotW had this, it would've ruined quests such as Miskos treasure or Giant Horse where you had to listen to the npcs tips and then try yo find the correct route.

In Xenoblade 3, you can just skip all npc info and put the line on the screen to show you the way. If this does not ruin exploration then I don't know what is.

Xenoblade games treat gamers like babies with all the handholding. They should've learned from BotW and Elden Ring. That red line showing your path.. give me a break

We can't have everything. The Switch has the best catalogue of games out of any current consoles anyway, and it's just gonna get better with Xenoblade 3, Metroid Prime 4, Bayonetta 3, Splatoon 3, BotW sequel and Pokemon S/ V.

I'm afraid they ruin this game by including a casual mode... because of that, I'm more hyped for Sunbreak.

Also, I just played through Xenoblade definitive edition. The exploration and sidequests feels dated. I hope this game would improve a lot of those aspects.

Sunbreak could be larger than the main game. It has bigger file size.

Can't wait to start grinding new gear. Getting bored to my current meta set.

Yeah, I would pay my soul... wait, already sold for a cup of coffee. I would pay a High Price for THPS 3+4. The fourth game was my personal favorite. I loved the fact there was no time limit while you were roaming.

As for 1+2, I suppose this is a must buy since there hasn't been any talk about the sequels.

That logo of MP 4 is obviously not the final design.

Boring. Just play the originals. A new effect here or there is not gonna change the game any better. It might even look out of place compared to the rest of the artstyle.

Why aren't all these people making their own games instead of modding games belonging to Nintendo? If they created their own IP they could even get paid for it.

Why not just release an updated mini console with the earlier games included too. No one wants 2 megadrive mini consoles.

Then again, Sega has always been bad at business decisions.

I haven't seen any hackers while playing Rise online.

I'm HR 60 at the moment, the grind gets slow to 100 but at least there's a lot of game here. You can always get better too.

As for online, I've only played with randoms. Usually, they're pretty good. Only once the mission was aborted because of someone getting killed.

Dragon Quest XI is my favorite RPG this generation (if BotW doesn't count as RPG). Definitely hoping this for Switch.

This is quite typical western animation despite the apparent anime style. The facial expressions are overdone.

The animations of Link in BotW looks a lot better and more realistic. The same difference can be seen between quality japanese anime vs. quality western animated movies.

There is a mistake in the article conerning Metroid Prime. Shigeru Miyamoto WAS involved in the development. He was in constant communication with Retro Studios, and without his influence the game could have been just another generic shooter.

Why aren't they showing damage numbers?

As for the weapons, I'm using longsword all the way. It may be a bit boring choice, but I really like how the animations look and it's also often ranked as the best overall weapon in the game.

I don't support games like this. The copying is way too much. It wouldn't have taken that much effort to choose a different art style and leave the most obvious references out of it.

As for this game, I don't know. These guys are not supposed to be some super heroes. The Warriors genre is kind of dumb IMO.

Don't you think that stuff is just excuses? 1% of the richest population could end world starvation and still remain filthy rich after the donations. Still, they are not doing this. It's pure selfishness and I have no doubt most of these people are capitalists.

If you ask them why they aren't doing that, it's time for excuses, most common being: "how do we know the money is going in the right place" In a smaller scale they refuse to help common beggars with the same excuse.

In the mean time, it's the poor people who help each other because they know how it is to be poor and having either born or gone through circumstances that prevent them getting rich. An example would be something like this: having gone insane from childhood abuse in both home and school. This is just an example, but a person like this would likely be traumatized to the point he or she is forced to avoid work. Because most work involve people and therefore contains a possibility to get abused again.

And what do capitalists do on this hypothetical situation? First of all they want to take the welfare away from this jobless person. They say: Go to work, grow a backbone. They don't even think about the fact we all have different kinds of life experiences. They also assume that every person is equally strong. Both misconceptions makes them believe that everyone can have similar opportunities in life. Like, yeah, sure. How about getting born in the lowest caste in India. Or something similar. In the mean time there are people like Trump or Kardashians who just happened to have rich parents. How are they any better when they just got luckier in life?

It always goes back to these things. Capitalists are always right wingers. And when you think about how their reasoning works, it's not hard to understand how it leads to far- right ideology. It's simply more honest: exterminate the weak because they can't contribute to society. All things and the luck factor taken into account, it really is unfair.

I still don't see a reason to get another system. Switch has the best catalogue of games, and I don't care if some worse games on other systems have more stuff stacked on the screen or higher resolution. 1080p is enough for me. 720 is enough too.

As you said, the Switch have many beatiful games due to their superb art style. The only game I would be interested to play from other consoles is Elden Ring, but it's just one game and I'm pretty sure the BotW sequel blows it out of the water. And even if it doesn't, at least it's good enough to fill that gap.

Why are you having news about games for other systems? Isn't this a Nintendo site? The other systems already have their own sites.

I don't play stuff like WRC. Also, how big is your tv? I'm playing with 24 inch monitor with no 4k support. If you got like 40+ tv and possibly 4k of course you'll be seeing more difference in graphics?
