@dsparil Everyone has their own standard of when a nauseating lecture is warranted. Nintendo copying something that someone copied from them doesn't quite reach that level for me. But it is funny that in a way that they've done something they tell me not to do.

The story is certainly amusing, but doesn't really delegitimize nintendo's stance on emulation. This guy managed to take a funny story and turn into a nauseating lecture.

Don't try to make the metroid universe light hearted. I don't need anything cute (etecoons and dachoras notwithstanding) or silly in this universe. I have a dozen Nintendo franchises that are silly, light hearted, and whimsical. I have one Nintendo franchise where I might see the mangled corpses of slain scientists in the intro and where the main character goes through hell and terror and kicks serious butt.

Highly divisive? Pretty much everyone hates or is just isn't very interested. Bless those kind few souls who are excited for it.

@rishisquid I couldn't agree more. Surely someone at Nintendo has played a smart phone game with no buttons and realized how crappy it is.

Above all else Nintendo safeguards its unique right to disappoint its fans. I doubt they would allow others to disappoint us through leaks. I think these are fake and that Nintendo will disappoint us in unforeseeable ways at e3.

Super Metroid on handheld is pretty much the only reason I bought the new 3ds. Can't wait for it to drop in NA.

This would be a brilliant move. Port Smash 4 to NX and improve the online multiplayer. Sell it at a discount to those that already own it for Wiiu or 3ds.

I enjoyed the tears of light sections. I really liked the pacing of this game right up until the city in the sky dungeon.

That Slippy Frog has a lot of nerve showing his face around these parts. He nearly single-handedly ruined the whole Star Fox franchise.

New FZero game: Captain Falcon's friend repairs broken race cars from Falcon's races. All the intense excitement of the FZero universe in the form of auto repair.

The wiiu is a commercial failure but for me personally it's been great.

Pretty much the only way I can see this going: new 3d mario reveal, new 3d metroid and new 2d metroid reveal, snes on 3ds vc, some other filler material (amiibo, games already announced, mobile stuff).

I haven't given up on the WiiU. I already own it and I have fun playing the games. But there will be much less buzz and far fewer sales in the holiday season without Zelda.

I suspect that a lot of the people buying these kinds of games for their kids are simply remnants of a generation that is just unfamiliar with games as they weren't very pervasive while they were growing up. I think most parents that grew up with video games will simply be more aware of content in various types of games and will be less likely to buy their child a completely inappropriate game. Maybe we'll see some decline in this kind of thing as video game savvy generations have children.

Then there are parents that just don't care. They will always be around.

Probably few or none of us think children should be playing these games. Why do any of us love to see graphic and ultra gory depictions of brutal violence? I don't think these kinds of things are a cause of violence, but I wonder why so many of us like it.

This isn't news. I couldn't fathom the Zelda game being ready in 2015. They pull out all the stops for Zelda when it comes to quality. These games always take a long time to get to market. Now with the additional development time for a giant HD world there was never much of a chance that it would come out this year. An announcement that the game would be delayed past 2015 was a certainty. I am excited to see this game in 2016 or 2017. It will probably be a masterpiece.

Samus rocks! Best female character in gaming IMO. Also, I think Zelda in any of her OoT, Twilight Princess, or Skyward Sword incarnations would have been better than tetra (though I love tetra).

I'm sad to report that I just didn't enjoy majoras mask 3d as much as I hoped I would. It was an improvement over the original, but I think I really missed the more care free feel of other Zelda games. Nevertheless, I love reading Aonuma's comments about the inspiration and development of the game. Even though it is not a favorite of mine I'm glad so many people really love the game. Variety is a good thing.

I wish zero mission was on 3ds virtual console. Nevertheless, I'm very happy it's on wiiu.

I think Nintendo is a bit misguided here. They certainly have every right to take this position, but I believe it does them more harm than good. This will generate more ill will than revenue for Nintendo.

Nintendo is the only company that can get me to repeatedly buy things I already own. I'll be getting the Prime trilogy on eshop today.

I am very excited for this game.

The 3DS deserves the accolades. It is a great system with an outstanding library of games.
