I love Wario Ware, but hate these rehashes. This is the exact same thing as that screwed up Rhythm Tengoku/Heaven game on the 3DS, which was boring as hell if you already played the previous games.
Investors aren't emotional cry baby fanboys like most people here who parade each turd indie game like it's a triple A title.
@Knuckles-Fajita Prime, Bayonetta and Yoshi never sold a lot. Fire Emblem sells reasonably. Pokemon, Mario Kart, Mario, Smash Bros, Wii Fit, Wii Sports and Animal Crossing are triple A titles when it comes to sales. Those sell tens of millions, not a few hundred thousand or a few million.
Wouldn't be surprised if you would see this for less than €10 in the PS Store soon. Sony drops the price every time a Switch port is released, sometimes even giving it away for free lol.
The characters were quite lame actually. A generic bear. The IPs of Rare were never that strong (boring character design, think Banjo-Kazooie, Jet Force Gemini, Joanna Dark, Grabbed By The Goulies), but they had some amazing games.
@rjejr if you're B+/A- in Splatoon 1 you'll probably be at least S rank in Splatoon 2. It's way easier to rank up and way more difficult to drop in rank. They also rank you separately for each of the Ranked modes, so if you suck in one it doesn't affect the other rankings.
I would ban cross play too if I were Sony. Half of my Splatoon 2 matches has one player getting disconnected. I guess most Switch players connect their console to he web with a 14k4 modem or a Nokia 3310. For some reason, Nintendo players online always have terrible connections (same for Smash Bros on Wii U and 3DS)
@PanurgeJr You still don't understand it. The whole point is that EA does nothing besides publishing when it comes to indie games, nothing more nothing less. The whole idea is that those indie studios work fully independent. EA does publishing and probably some promotion. I don't see any developer from that studio blaming EA for anything. They are free to do whatever they want. If they want to make a PS4 version, that's on them. If EA had more input, then it wouldn't have been an indie studio anymore. That's what everybody is trying to avoid. If a publisher invests more money, they demand more control. That is what everybody is trying to avoid. The publisher does not make bad decisions, they don't make any decision at all.
The studio obviously didn't even start working on the Switch version to begin with. But did they know there was demand, which is exaggerated any way, because I never heard gamers begging for Unravel 1 to be on the Switch. That was just an ok game. It wasnt that great.
But now all of a suddenly everybody is upset. And gamers are just bashing stuff for no reason. EA does a lot of things wrong, but not in this case.
I still don't see why they would delay an announcement until they ported both games to the switch. Sounds like a terrible business move. They don't even know if they will get it up and running on the Switch to begin with.
@PanurgeJr It's built on a custom engine by two people, so if you put new developers on the job it takes months before they know the ins and outs of the engine. You won't speed up the process by throwing more money at it. Plus that money needs to be recouped. You think publishers are just going to throw money at stuff that won't earn them anything? That's not how they became a big publisher to begin with, that is how big publishers in the past went bankrupt. Delaying the PS4/Xbox versions just for the sake of it does not make any sense businesswise. Unravel 1 was never on a Nintendo console to begin with.
You got a small indie dev team trying to make an awesome game... Only to get bashed by immature whiney gamers because it isn't made for their underpowered platform of choice. And then they suggest it's the publishers fault. Because FIFA.
@PanurgeJr lol, you know absolutely nothing about software development. Just because you have more resources does not mean it will be done faster. If you have a custom engine, putting more devs on the job would delay it even more.
Gamers are quite dumb compared to developed, my God. And judging by the comments they think they outsmart them. Sad to see.
@RadioHedgeFund Nope, but around the time the Dreamcast was discontinued, Sega released Sega Smash Pack which contained instructions for Echelon (the most popular release group) on how to use the emulator for other roms.
@kobashi100 It's still annoying that the store is filled with crap and you have to search very hard to find the few hidden gems between all the shovelware and mobile ports. You're totally missing the point. Of course I don't buy them, but saying that is like me pooping in front of your house and saying: you don't have to step into the poop.
@RadioHedgeFund Dreamcast is homebrew heaven, even Sega put some secrets in for he Homebrew community(Megadrive emulator, Puyo Puyo homescreen). Games are still being released. Xbox had Xbox Media Center other platforms had tons of unofficial translation and undubbing/uncensoring patches and so on.
And you're still missing the point: you think hackers are learning their skills from playing pirates games all day? Hell no, they hack all they. It are the other people who profit off it and play the pirates games. They usually just do it for the sports.
@Dogorilla these type of games work on mobile because smartphones don't have any buttons, porting them back to consoles is a really dumb idea. Should never be a 7 because it doesn't feel like a console game.
@kobashi because they never feel right. They always feel like mobile games with short levels, dumbed down mechanics and terrible AI that is way too forgiving. And a lot of times you have too read into reviews before you find out it's a mobile port.
This is why I hate videogame journalism and communities. Everybody just copy pastes opinions these days without even thinking for themselves.
I'm pretty sure most of the gamers who complain about this not being on the switch didn't even play the first one, which was never released on a Nintendo console in the first place. Besides that, why does everybody all of a suddenly acts like it was a masterpiece and a must have on he Switch? It was a decent platformer with a fun gimmick, nothing more. Nobody cared about Unravel until this fabricated controversy.

Re: Hackers Have Now Found A Way To Emulate Nintendo 64 Games On Switch
Those aren't old games in the video. That's not just Mario 64, but Mario running in a map from Ocarina of Time.

Re: Review: Pato Box (Switch eShop)
Mad World was one of the best looking games on the OG Wii.
This looks awful though. Horrible character design. Like some 14 year old's doodles.

Re: Super Mario Run Has Made Just Over $60 Million To Date
They should port it to the Switch and charge $30 for it.
It will get a 9/10 review on NintendoLife.
Re: Crash Bandicoot Is The Fastest Selling Switch Game In 2018 As It Rockets To UK Number One
@electrolite77 There is a drought because everybody is so thirsty for good games that a mediocre PS1 remake is the best selling thing on the system.
Re: Splatoon 2 Is Having A Worldwide Squid Vs Octopus Splatfest To Celebrate Its Anniversary
@StupidName64 That has nothing to do with the splatfest.
And the Octo Expansion isn't very difficult. It's mild at best. Ikaruga is very difficult.
Re: Splatoon 2 Is Having A Worldwide Squid Vs Octopus Splatfest To Celebrate Its Anniversary
@chardir That means squid will win. The most popular option always attracts all the terrible players.
Re: Crash Bandicoot Is The Fastest Selling Switch Game In 2018 As It Rockets To UK Number One
@hadrian You must be poor then.
Re: Crash Bandicoot Is The Fastest Selling Switch Game In 2018 As It Rockets To UK Number One
The drought is real.
Re: Reggie Reveals Metroid Prime 4 Development Is "Proceeding Well"
Standard PR [removed]. If it was progressing well, we would've seen more on the last E3. Same with that Yoshi game.
They never delay games if they're progressing well. Not that it's a problem. Just be patient.
Re: Random: NieR: Automata Game Director Explains How He Was Inspired By Ikaruga
It's funny how NintendoLife gives away 9's like they're Oprah, but fails to score a true classic like Ikaruga the 10/10 it deserves.
Ikaruga is a near perfect game. No filler, every second is a blast.

Re: Review: de Blob (Switch)
lol, this game is €3.99 on PS Plus now, compared to €29.99 on the Switch. Sony must be trolling y'all fanboys.
Re: Video: The World Ends With You: Final Remix Gets A New Trailer And A Funky Limited Edition
Years ago, they would give all that crap away for free to promote the game.
These days, they bundle it and sell it for $90 more as an Limited Edition. And gamers get all excited lol.
Re: Video: The World Ends With You: Final Remix Gets A New Trailer And A Funky Limited Edition
Great game, don't know if it will be great on the Switch in docked mode.
Should've made a TWEWY 2 and the Limited Edition is just dumb.

@Sidon_ZoraPrince Two games. That's it.
Nobody takes FIFA Switch online serious.
Re: Yoshi For Nintendo Switch "Making Really Good Progress" Despite E3 No-Show
I'm tired of that played out paper look. Handdrawn style from Island was way better.
Re: Splatoon 2 Producer Discusses The Potential Impact Of Paid Nintendo Switch Online Service
I will be paying $20 a year because I'm rich and handsome, but the service is still terrible and overpriced.
There just aren't any good multiplayer games on the Switch, so you end up paying $20 just to play Splatoon and Smash.
While on the PS4 you pay a bit more, but you get free games every month and have a ton of competitive games.
Re: Review: Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion (Switch eShop)

Re: Review: Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion (Switch eShop)
Bought it and it's surprisingly good, though this should've been the regular campaign, because that one was horrible.
9/10 is too much though, especially for the €20 price tag. But it's a solid 8.
What's with all the copy paste reviews around the web? All of hem mention Zelda/Mario and act like it's really hard. It's not that hard.

@RadioHedgeFund except that's not true at all and you don't know anything about he subject lol. Please sit down and be quiet.
Hackers like to hack. Breaking the security measures is already the goal. Script kiddies cheat in games using these exploits found by others.

Surprising answer. I wonder what Rockstar will say when some genius reporter asks them if GTA5 will come to the Switch.
