I don't mind that the game is short. It's good to have a variety of games on my Switch that I can do quick playthroughs. Just like "Spin Master", short but sweet
@Nintendo_Thumb Some people in these forums are complete and utter psycho's. lol. How long did it take you to write that? I would read all that but I got games to play. lol
@Nintendo_Thumb LOL. You really like your LAMO don't you? Look at the evidence.
1. Many people are calling this "software" and not even considering it a game.
2. The racing game it shows doesn't even have any other racers on the track.
3. How big can a music game be with such a small piano?
4. Look at Nintendo's past when it comes to games that have gimmics. DK's bongo drums came with very small and simple games
5. The robot game doesn't look like there is much too it
6. It's just plain obvious, how are you going to make a full fledged game out of one simple function?
For years everyone has been begging Nintendo to stop with the gimmicks. Mostly because they're silly and always turn out awful in the end. Hasn't everyone learned by now?
@Anti-Matter For years everyone has been begging Nintendo to stop pushing silly gimmics. For some reason there will always be loyalists who fall for it every time. Nintendo's gimmics never last long. Given their history, this thing is almost guaranteed to suck. lol
@Nintendo_Thumb Trust me it's gonna suck, there;s no way they're making full fledged games out of these. You'll get maybe a few tunes to play on your silly piano and a small little city block to destroy with your ridiculous robot. Then they'll be in Wallmart bargain bins for everyone to get 5 mins of fun
@Nintendo_Thumb Are you not paying attention? People are labeling these as "software" and not even considering them games. You can clearly tell by the footage these are as basic as it gets
@Prizm I say save all that money and take the kids to the arts and crafts store. Lot of fun things to build with your kids there for a fraction of the price
@SEM Exactly, I'm surprised many people are blindly buying these before seeing what reviewers are experiencing first. I'm simply not supporting this because I find kids will have much more fun with this years first party lineup of games.
Double Dragon, Shu, and the physical release of Wonder Boy: the Dragons Trap! Much more fun than a tech demo featuring junk from Nintendo's recycling bin
@JHDK It's difficult to explain, but if you happen to mess it up you can always retreat behind the big metal box. The Lizalfos will lose track of you and go back to their sleeping spots.
Note: you can kill one of the Lizalfos with the sneak strike technique while the other one is still sleeping. The other Lizalfos you can't use the constant sneak strike because he will fall into the water after the first sneak strike.
I managed to screw it up several times, and when I did I just ran back to the metal box and hid, then try again
@JHDK For Floor 11, you take out the first Lizard without alarming the others. If you do, use ice blocks and hop over to hide behind the box to your left. They will go back asleep. Once the first one is dead, you must use the sneak strike technique on one of the lizalfos (the one on the right I think) You can find tutorials on how to sneak strike lizalfos until death. The last one, you want to hit him with electricity and "spin-to-win" (2 handed weapon and spin) OR you can also hit him a couple times with you weapon, switch it out with something else and repeat. You don't want to take the lizalfos into the water. If you do, keep firing at him with arrows and don;t stop. lol
Last thing on the spin to win, you may have to hack away with electricity and a few swipes of a one handed weapon. Your 2 handed weapon may not be durable enough to take him out in one go

Re: Soapbox: Labo Could Help Nintendo Finally Crack The World Of Education
Ha! That would be the day if schools would ever get the kind of funding to ever put Labo in their schools

Yeah... the Labo is so much more than cardboard. It's also strings and lousy tech demo's don't forget

WILL BUY!

Re: Guide: What Is Nintendo Labo? 16 Of Your Questions Answered
What many people don't realise is that the "software" is going to be incredibly lame and boring. There will be many disappointed kids out there

@SEM Exactly, I'm surprised many people are blindly buying these before seeing what reviewers are experiencing first. I'm simply not supporting this because I find kids will have much more fun with this years first party lineup of games.
Re: Nintendo Confirms It Won't Be Freely Supplying Extra Cardboard Replacements For Labo
@DonSerrot A year or two later they'll be like, 'Damn, I wish our uncle got us the new Kirby game instead"
Re: Enter The Gungeon Just Received A New Update
Next we need an e-shop bug fix to prevent more rogue-like / twinstick shooters from showing up
Re: Guide: What Is Nintendo Labo? 16 Of Your Questions Answered
The slogan should be: Nintendo Lamo, from our recycling box, to yours
Re: Irem's Kid Niki Returns Next Week Thanks to Hamster ACA
I've beaten this on the NES. I take it the last boss is still Billy Idol?
Re: Labo's Cardboard Revolution Adds Almost $1.4 billion to Nintendo's Value
So roughly 2 million children will be disappointed after they accidently sat on their stupid piece of crap
Re: UK Pricing For Nintendo Labo Is Confirmed
I feel sorry for the sucker kid who ends up getting one of these rather than a great 1st party title like Kirby or Yoshi
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th January (North America)
Double Dragon, Shu, and the physical release of Wonder Boy: the Dragons Trap! Much more fun than a tech demo featuring junk from Nintendo's recycling bin
Re: Reggie On The Future Of Nintendo Labo Regarding Third Parties
Yay! A Crappy tech demo with crap from Nintendo's recycling bin! Much better than the new Kirby game or Mario Aces!
Re: Feature: Nintendo Labo Shouldn't Be A Big Surprise, Nintendo Is A Toymaker First And Foremost
The Labo's new slogan - From our recycling box to yours
Re: First Labo's Cardboard Piano, Now KORG Gadget Lets You Make Music With Your Joy-Cons
Or you could just buy your kid the new Kirby game and throw this cardboard crap in the recycling bin
Re: Hands On: The Future Of Gaming Is Cardboard, Thanks To Nintendo Labo
@Pluto14 You think a kid would be able to put one of these together? One slip up and the whole things ruined. Hope that tape can hold it together
Re: Hands On: The Future Of Gaming Is Cardboard, Thanks To Nintendo Labo
So if you mess up once trying to put one of these together, you're pretty much screwed. Terrible idea
Re: Max: Curse Of Brotherhood Is Getting A Physical Release On Switch
I was originally waiting for a sale but now I'll be waiting for the physical form. I'll be looking forward to this one!
Re: Soapbox: Is Super Mario Odyssey the Best Mario Game Ever?
I think you need to separate 3D with 2D. it's not really fair to compare them.
