@waluigifan1 Every Nintendo IP ever made runs circles around all the garbage ass 3D Sonic games. Also the music, the music is soooo cheesy and lame. ARMS has some of the BEST music ever. There is no comparison. ARMS is a well made game with care and effort. Sonic games just cash in on naive fanboys
This game is a "must have" and it's a shame a lousy game like Earth Atlantis gets a higher rating than this. People are now going to read this review and pass on a game I'm sure they will really enjoy
The trick to getting through this game is to kill off all your heroes and just use 1 hero the rest of the way. You do this because the timer resets after you die, so you can retry infinitely with a fresh timer. I recommend playing Magnificent 8 mode or Solo mode.
I'm predicting this game will be mediocre at best, while Sonic fanboys in denial will put it in the "elite" category like they did with Colors and Generations .. which also were mediocre. Enough with the 3D sonic games, they're all terrible.
I can't even go back and play the old Zelda games. Breath of the Wild outshines all the Zelda games x10. If you don't agree then stop lying to yourself. lol
@link3710 Once you beat the chapter it displays how many diamonds, how many deaths, time bonus, and life bonus. Those will be then transferred to the Hall of Fame. You must complete the chapter first
This game is worth the price. It beats most of the over rated garbage that's reviewed on here. There is tons to get your moneys worth. Finding all the hidden diamonds and besting your score can eat up many hours if you choose to do so.
@lillith Thanks! Yeah I really want the physical copy but I don't want to wait for the shipping. It probly won't get to me until Mario Odyssey comes out and ... yeah I'll be busy with that. lol
88 Heroes retail is a little hard to come by. Gamestop doesn't carry it. (In the Toronto area) and I can only find it on Amazon. I think I'll stick to the digital
Tiny Barbarian DX retail and 88 Heroes are my picks this week. I'll be adding this to the wish list, not sure if I'll get around to this one before Fire Emblem and Mario Odyssey.
Spoiler I think a good Tip would be the use of the ancient arrow on Lynels. It Could really help players tackle the last sword trials. (Although it's more fun taking them on normally)
This game is trash. Error messages constantly deep into levels along with a lame story. The game is boring and doesn't make you want to progress. People cant just blindly read reviews and figure it's worth the purchase without watching any videos on it
Ever since The Binding of Isaac, I have became a Nicalis fanboy! I'm glad I pre-ordered this and picking it up today! This is one of my my most anticipated titles this year!
I have enjoyed Kirby Superstar on the Classic SNES Mini. I like the concept of short adventures broken up into sections. Great to pickup and play whenever. The RPG parody references were pretty funny.
@joey302 I wouldn't go that far, That still won't make the game great or anything. It needed levels and more of a fun arcade style gameplay. The map you play on is awful. Don't get it, it's boring
2017 Could be remembered as the greatest year for Nintendo. Zelda, Mario, ARMS, Slattoon 2,Kingdom Battle, the revival of 3rd party support, successful E3,many great indi titles, etc.
@joey302 Yes, I bought it because I am a fan of oldschool shooters and Nintendo Life projected it as a spiritual successor to "In the Hunt" which I own for the Sega Saturn. This is NOTHING like "In the Hunt." There are no levels, it's the same maze that you go back and forth around that occasionally expands itself. Plus it all looks the same. On top of that it's a maze that has no detailed map. You constantly have to navigate since you need to take on deaths to learn the boss's enemy patterns. WHen you die it takes about 15-20 mins to navigate all over the map collecting upgrades. Only to die instantly and try again. It's terrible.
@joey302 Yeah some people are having a problem with the projectiles blending in with the background. I don't have too much of a problem with that, there is only one basic enemy that shoots these white colored shots that blend in a bit. I didn't have a problem with that. My biggest problem is the poor navigation. It's a giant confusing maze with basically no map.
@crackafreeze Yes it's extremely boring. The navigation is terrible and you have to navigate a lot since every time you die you have to farm many poweups in order to stand a chance against any of the bosses. It's really bad and could have used a better map system

Re: There's a Sonic Forces Demo on the Japanese eShop, But It Has a Strange Limitation
@waluigifan1 BAAAHAHAHAHA! At least ARMS has never had camera issues, which Sonic games STILL can't seem to grasp.
Re: There's a Sonic Forces Demo on the Japanese eShop, But It Has a Strange Limitation
This game is going to be trash! (shut up about Sonic colors and generations! Those games are trash too!)

Re: Zombie Gold Rush is Creeping Onto Switch In Time For Halloween
Looks like a fun little game to pass the time, instead of tossing and turning all night waiting for the new Mario release.
Re: Mutation Nation Is Your Next HAMSTER ACA Release on Switch
I'm looking forward to this one!

Re: Guide: How To Unlock Every Badge In ARMS
@OorWullie Just use double Seekie's. The computer AI can't handle them
Re: Review: Ninja Shodown (Switch eShop)
Damn, if only the developers took the time to do an interview. They would have gotten some points tacked on like Earth Atlantis.
Re: Super Ping Pong Trick Shot Bounces Onto Switch eShop Tomorrow
I actually bought "Major League Eating" on the Nintendo Wii. This looks 100% better.
Re: Review: Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch)

Re: DLC Review: Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - Ultra Challenge Pack
This is my second favorite game on the Switch but this is still not enough content for me to buy. Too many great new titles coming out
Re: NSFW: Wolfenstein II's Launch Trailer Shows The Many Ways To Skin A Nazi
With the large amount of Switch consoles getting into the hands of gamers, the sales on this game will be fan-freakin'-tastic!

Yes!! Finally!!
Re: Soapbox: Breath Of The Wild Is Amazing, But Is It The 3D Zelda That Enthusiasts Expected?
@Banjos_Backpack Yeah I tried playing Wind Waker on GC a few weeks ago, got to the third dungeon and couldn't carry on. Just wanted to play BOTW
Re: Soapbox: Breath Of The Wild Is Amazing, But Is It The Game That Zelda Enthusiasts Expected?
I can't even go back and play the old Zelda games. Breath of the Wild outshines all the Zelda games x10. If you don't agree then stop lying to yourself. lol
Re: The Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Ultra Challenge Pack DLC is Now Live
I have 100% completed all the challenges, but I think I'll wait for more content to come out before buying DLC

Re: The Latest Zelda: Breath of the Wild Free Gift Actually Has a Fun Tip
@MariOnline Right, but in the trials you get more than enough weapons and it's a lot smarter not to risk losing hearts against those tricky Lynels.
Re: Rumours Swirl Around a 'Game Boy Classic' Trademark, But Don't Get Too Excited
How about a Gameboy Jumbo? We don't need those Gameboy's any smaller. lol

@SetupDisk Are you kidding me? This game constantly gives you error messages deep into levels and the gameplay is complete garbage compared to Rayman

Re: The Inevitable SNES Classic Mini Hack Is Now Complete
The hack works great and it's very easy to use. Glad to have Turtles IV and the Ninja Warriors on there
