@Dang_69 Please don't get me wrong, no intention to be offensive in any way. Just personally struck me as a step towards an American FPS, a step away from what Metroid has historically been.

From a European pov it feels like the Americanisation of the IP, and personally I think I can live without Hollywood style bs in what was with Dread still an amazing franchise. I’ll wait for the reviews but not pre ordering for sure.

@Medic_alert I completely agree and am following the same path. I would’ve jumped on Yakuza 0 and I find it frustrating to have to hold back, but the same will go for all future game key releases.

Having opinions based on a video of a demo I didn’t even play makes no sense, at least for me. If given the opportunity I’ll play the demo or I’ll buy the game, try it and then eventually make up my mind if I like it or not. I saw a tremendous amount of online hatred about Scarlet, but finished up playing it, spending many hours and tbh quite enjoyed it. It wasn’t a perfect game by any stretch, but still enjoyable.

I’m very happy to hear about a fast mode — this game, at least for me, lasts far too long and becomes tedious after a while.

There will certainly be many excellent alternatives on the market, better quality and lower prices, as it was with the smaller Switch 1 cases (Tomtoc comes to mind, but I’m sure there are many other).

Let’s be honest, the store is awful. I can’t think of anything positive to say about it. I can’t understand why a so-called family oriented company has hentai everywhere, why the store is so slow and terribly organized, the complete absence of some sort of curation. Nintendo could learn so much from Valve

Sorry to say but Nintendo can F*** OFF with these key cards. I won't be buying a single one (I currently have over 100 Switch games in physical format). If I didn't have many great memories since the SNES days I would probably be boycotting Nintendo this generation, but key cards are an absolute NO.

I really hope this is not the new Arms. Arms had a lovely art direction, this looks indeed very dull and uninviting.

@Dee123 Well, because it's news. I saw TH on YT yesterday and was quite surprised to see the proportion of the storm in the chat. I wasn't expecting to see a chat with what I would estimate were at least 70% of messages asking for a price reduction. I can imagine that Nintendo may have taken tariffs into account in calculating the pricing.

I personally don’t like the art style either. If I think of all the old school design around skateboarding (anche also a lot of the contemporary) this feels at least to me way too mainstream and shallow. I guess they must have decided to go with this art direction for a reason.

@Cathousemaster Yes, considering how the game's structured I'd say that it sits in a nice spot. Not too long, neither too short, just right.

@BenAV Thanks for answering, I'm not really into visual novels - not yet, at least - so yes, my assumption was poorly informed, to say the least. Yes, I agree, a bit light on both sides, still an enjoyable game. Looks like a project that lends itself to DLCS.

@BenAV I enjoyed it, but couldn't help feeling it's more of a visual novel with RPG mechanics than a real card-based RPG... Perhaps it's just me, I don't know. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the first playthrough but didn't follow up with an NG+. Perhaps one day I get through the staggering backlog.

@KnightsTemplar Completely agree, I find the Oled so much better. Having said that it really depends how much you play handheld. Considering I only play handheld the difference is striking to say the least.
