Universal Orlando's Super Nintendo World might not be arriving until 2025, it looks like Universal Studios Japan's park has quickly gotten back on track.
After a delayed opening due to COVID-19, Osaka's state of emergency was recently lifted. Though the pandemic is still ongoing, Nintendo has revealed a new opening date of March 18th via Twitter.
Universal has separately confirmed it will be implementing additional safety measures for this opening period. That includes limited admission with a numbered ticket system, alongside a mandatory face mask policy.
For most of us, it'll be a long wait before we can visit Super Nintendo World. If you can't wait to see what's instore, numerous POV videos have already gone online, including one for the Mario Kart ride. If that's not your speed, there's always a Minecraft recreation, too.

At least they can all enjoy the amusement park before the death date of the anniversary celebration... However, I would expect the park to be rather chaotic if they're going to have to follow restrictions.
Another business still charging full whack even though the covid restrictions will make it less of an experience than it was before.
AND AFTER MARCH 31ST NINTENDO'S GONNA FILL IT WITH EXPLOSIVES AND BLOW IT DOWN TO HELL WITH THE OTHER MARIO STUFF
The whole park is about as big as Tesco
I'm profoundly impressed by the land's theming. I'm disappointed Universal succumbed to its tendency to make a "shake you in front of a screen" tendencies when Mario Kart needed a ride that had authentic speed. Was hoping for something closer to Disney's "Cars" ride:

I don't think it's safe to jump that high, even when wearing masks.
i'll still believe it when i see it
third times a charm XD
Wow, can't wait to not be able to go there because of American airlines still being largely closed.
It is opening sooner than I was expecting and it is a sign the olympics will go ahead (something I was not sure a few weeks ago)
Case count:It's time to jump up in the air!
You mean I CAN defy gravity outside of my dreams if I go to a Mario-themed mini park?
What's open now that wasn't open first week of February? There were youtube videos of people visiting the park, taking the rides, and eating at the park restaurants. Maybe that was limited press+friends, and not officially open?
@Jackpaza0508 There's a certain cleverness to that idea. You sure you don't already work for Nintendo? 🤪
@WoomyNNYes AH! I'VE BEEN FOUND OUT!
@WoomyNNYes I was wondering the same thing. You would think from all the videos of people visiting the park multiple times that it was already open.
