rip mario kart tour

been playing lots of nes tetris. got to lvl 14 for the first time when my pb was lvl 11. also cleared lvl 9 height 4 yesterday. working on height 5 but its been brutal but I want the true ending bad. also tried out the tengen version. great music tho I prefer nes more.

super circuit was dead last but Im just salty about not being able to 3 star the rest of the snes tracks. but Ive noticed I come back to it more and more over the last year so it might be top 5 shockingly. its got the feel of the combo system of tour w coin lines and constantly pulling off zzmt's w the goal of 3 starring all the nitro cups in a row which I can do consistently. prob will be tours worse replacement once it shuts down.

trying to beat as many vb games as I can. maybe some jack bros. I dropped it earlier this yr but Im near the very end and thankfully theres a password system. he ho!

working my way through mischief makers and man this has to be the most vague game Ive ever played. controls, hitboxes, objectives...love the graphics but its like every level is a new tutorial.

also would love to get 50 million points on galactic pinball to see the end credits. most Ive got is 5 mil but Ive read alien is the easiest one so I'll grind later

edit: just got 66 mil on alien and rolled credits. I could hear my heart beating out loud when crossing 50 mil, very fun game

slowly trying to beat dragon hopper. still the coolest thing nintendos done all year

average. adding virtual boy was awesome. I see snowboard kids in one of those pics. both 1 and 2 r the games I want the most on there rn. but the other games added have been mostly lousy. they need more gamecube games obviously.

snowboard kids 2. speedruns r banned from using the dragon board and invis board bc theyre so op but its the fastest way to beat the game so shocked it hasnt been done til now. theres also a pc port now released for anyone interested. also got my steam machine recently!

prob wont but I might go for 100% w the change. wish they released the physical version closer to the launch date but oh well. I also want gyro

a misunderstood gem. grinding for more and more points and keeping up a constant combo chain is so much fun. Ive played every day since 2021 and am super sad about this. Id put it in my top 10 games ever.

trying out the japanese version of snowboard kids ds called sbk party on my 3ds to see any regional differences. very curious how different jack frost sounds. just have to coin farm now.

originally rented snowboard kids 1 from an albertsons in like 98 or 99. just bought it last year along w sbk2 and got deep into speedrunning. made some awesome friends in the community and it really kept me going in hard times. as a mario kart fanatic, I think sbk1 is even better than mario kart 64 and the best game on the console. the series is somehow still underrated and wanted to use this to show more ppl just how great sbk is.

beat cuphead again and the dlc. slowly trying to 100% maybe even 300% but its rough. ragequit after 3 hrs on ribby and croaks. yesterday I got the s rank after 10 minutes so I guess Im back.

ironically Ive been playing cuphead all week on switch and then they announce a couple of new games yesterday. beat the devil afterwards so Im gonna finally work on the dlc after years of waiting. beat the game on pc in 2018 w my kitten in my lap and now she just straight up stares at the screen which she never does. trippy lol

going through my backlog and been playing dragon quest xi on switch. jrpgs arent my fav genre but its been relaxing and I like the graphics.

might retry star fox 64 on nso w the n64 controller. I really liked sf2 but the series itself has never clicked w me.

playing the bowser tour, one of my faves in mario kart tour. been a whole year since I got my only top 1000 badge. also been getting top 10 every day in doodle jump christmas edition.

I just beat mouse: pi for hire last night w a nice cozy storm in the background. played normal mode and that last boss was brutal. took 2 hrs and I figured out the only way is to spam the cannon gun. just gonna chill this weekend.

mouse: p.i. for hire. also after a year of waiting finally got doom on snes by limited run. on the shipping box marked as 5th/697 which is cool.

taking a break from games. watching twilight zone (one of my fav shows) to get me hyped for pi mouse for hire. shame it doesnt release physically until a couple of months but Im just gonna snag the digital.

finishing my 100% for snowboard kids plus then improving my speedrun after w shinobin

my jap ps2 came in and works like a charm. gonna slowly work my way towards 100%ing snowboard kids plus.

going to attempt to beat bubsy 3d using only my bare feet. even gave my toenails a nice trimming just for the occasion!

my new jap ps1 sadly doesnt work so I cant play snowboard kids plus for the first time. could emulate it but Id rather play on a crtv. so prob nothing this weekend.

snowboard kids. pulled off the glitch on animal land that maxes ur score at 9999, took all week. game shows ur top 5 scores so I need to pull it off 4 more times. also bought the japanese version (easier cpus), a cheap copy of madden 99 to swap the back of the cartridge, sbk plus and a japanese ps1. slowly turning into my fav game ever.

neo turf masters. got 13th last night which is my pb placement on any course in the game, on the australia course. hole 3 is perfect for hole in one attempts which Id like to do at least once.

mew. I have fond memories of trying to get a pic in space in pokemon snap on my bday w all my friends hudled around the screen and getting the ancient mew card (which I still own) during the pokemon movie.

got my mr cart for virtual boy so I can play the entire library plus homebrew games. its perfect to play for short rounds at night. also trying to get better at snowboard kids 2 to pull together a speedrun.

easily the highlight today. monster farm jump is a top 10 arcade game for me. seeing cool boarders hurt as snowboard kids is my most wanted nso game but maybe theres hope.

nothing besides mouse: p.i. for hire and hopefully eternity egg gets a switch 2 port.

I just bought a vb but might pick this up for the two lost games. Im sure somebody will find a way to dump the roms. huge w

got a knockoff n64 switch controller for christmas so Im gonna beat kirby 64 for the first time since I was a kid. easily my fav kirby game

I think this game is a bit too easy. cpus at lvl 9 and Im winning 90% of the time. just being honest.

grind for 10 million coins in snowboard kids 2 while I listen to podcasts. I'll copy that file to files 2 and 3. ocd.

dropped mario sunshine it was so bad. instead playing a childhood classic, snowboard kids on n64 until my copy of sbk2 comes in.

gonna try to finish galaxy 2 on wii. enjoying it way more than the first game.

no Ive got both on wii. the extra storybook is dumb, shoulda been new content like bowsers fury and Ive never cared about stuff like retextures or playing in 4k etc...
