This whole entire article was well written and very thought-provoking. I agree with every Point made in the article. I think the next Switch should be cloud-based, digital only and be extremely powerful to the point where no one would really want to compete against it because it can play any 3rd party PS5 game. I think it should debut with a retail price of $500 which was clearly Justify its price by the technical power of the system.

Clearly the Nintendo Switch is slaughtering all of its competition in Japan and that is starting to bear fruit to all of the other regions as well in the form of powerful hitting software. The Switch is the DS/PS2 of the modern era.

This is the smartest move that Nintendo could make. Release an upgrade that will not separate the audience. All games and accessories can be played on all devices in the Switch family. This is just going to push the console higher in total units sold in comparison to the Nintendo DS. This should help the Switch sell about 160 million units when it's all said and done.

This is the series that my daughter told me about. At the time it was exclusive to Sony systems but now that Nintendo has totally and completely conquered the whole continent of Asia with their Nintendo Switch console many developers feel as though they don't have a choice anymore when it comes to avoiding Nintendo systems. Now they most definitely realized they have to support Nintendo. I am so happy that this series is on the system.

I hope Nintendo has this game under contract as an exclusive for this generation. (The Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series generation that is).
I'm not too concerned about last generation consoles.

This is such an impressive feat. For a modern console to sell 20 million units in Japan. I have a strong feeling that it is going to reach 30 million sold in Japan alone. Hopefully it will surpass the Nintendo DS total units sold in Japan when it's all said and done.

If this game gets ported to the Nintendo Switch, I know I will buy it in a heartbeat and I know tons of Switch owners will do the same thing. Come on Square Enix, you know we wanting it so Port it already.

Miitopia is one heck of an JRPG.
It's fun, charming and has a really intriguing battle system. I highly recommend the game. Awesome franchise in the making everyone.

They need to translate this Fire Emblem game into English A.S.A.P.

I remember you over at neogaf. I remember seeing you battling Sony Fanboys left and right like a true hero you are. As a Nintendo fan I am proud to see you on our side.

At this point I just want to see Scorpion from Mortal Kombat and the main characters from the Contra series (Bill Rizer and Lance Bean) show up in Smash Bros.

As far as I'm concerned Crash Bandicoot is a failure and I don't care about seeing him in SSBU game's DLC roster.

I will definitely be buying this game as soon as it comes out. At the moment this is my most anticipated JRPG of the year for the Switch. At least until we learn of more awesome JRPGs coming out this year.

@SwitchForce you're right and I'm fine with that because I want to see Nintendo always be number one. So as long as Sony keep messing up I'm good.

I want to see them strictly focus on new I.P. only. My Hope and wish and expectation would be that the vast majority of their new IP's would be JRPGs

I think we Nintendo fans need to join together and create a petition for this game to come to the switch. We also need to go to Bethesda social media accounts and ask for a port for the switch. Heck we can even Petition Microsoft and beg them to release the game on the switch but I think we need to make our voices heard in this situation.

This game looks fun and I can't wait to pick it up.
