Monster Hunter Rise

Famitsu's Japanese chart figures are now in for the week ending 4th April, revealing that Monster Hunter Rise is still comfortably leading the pack.

The game sold another estimated 277,604 physical copies this week, bringing its two-week total to just under 1.6 million in Japan alone. Of course, Capcom has already announced that five million copies of the game have been shipped worldwide, so it's off to a cracking start.

The rest of the top ten is a pretty familiar sight, with Switch games taking up nine of those spots. Breaking that trend is PS4 newcomer, Outriders, which debuted in ninth place.

Sales of the Switch continue to benefit from the release of Monster Hunter Rise, although figures have dropped from last week. Incidentally, this week marks the end of data tracking for PS4 Pro sales as production of the console has ended. Here are this week's figures, followed by lifetime sales in brackets:
