I never played any of the games in this series but I'm more than willing to try it out due to the fact that I am a huge jrpg fan and a bona fide Square Enix fan. I'm truly enjoying the Nintendo switch this generation.
I don't want to sound like a fanboy or anything but I am very pleased that Nintendo is doing f2p games and jumping in on the DLC bandwagon now. I'm not sure what took them so long but now they can make even more money and use that money to fund their future games and consoles.
Personally for me this is great news because I bought the first game on the Wii U, I played that game and I did not find that game that good anyway. If I was to give that game the score I would give it a 7 out of 10 that's not bad but its not great either, so Capcom can take this game and shove it. As for the Wii U third party support, I actually want the system to get strong third party support and I'm not happy about what the third parties are doing but if the Wii U doesn't receive strong third party support then it is not a big loss because Nintendo don't even need third party support!!
I'm really pleased to hear about this turn around for the Wii U in Japan. These sales numbers reflect the awesome value that Nintendo is offering this holiday season. I can foresee the momentum carrying on throughout the spring of 2014.
Next up for the Wii U is monster hunter frontier G. That game should be releasing either this week or next week in Japan. Nonetheless this is going to be a fantastic month for the Wii U in Japan.
