Re: Switch Lite Added To Joy-Con Drift Class Action Lawsuit

Alucard83

@Hughesy I know, but even official XBOX ONE controller had same issue... RB button was broken very quickly and I didn't even play a lot. Suddenly the RB button was broken somehow.. it didn't function as it should. I had to press like 3x to able to do something. And that's from official MS controller. I replaced already for the 3rd on my PC an xbox controller now I got DPD and DPD does a better job with the RB button. So it doesn't surprise me that SWITCH has the same problem. All companies goes as cheap possible and demand the same price. There is no more quality! Period

Re: Switch Lite Added To Joy-Con Drift Class Action Lawsuit

Alucard83

It's not only Nintendo.. I bought for my PC DPD xbox controller... after some usage... it started drifting already and I didn't even played a lot. Soon i'm sure the analog won't even work and all characters will walk on their own while not pressing upward analog. Very annoying. I had to adjust some the sensitivity would be lower. In the past we surely got a bit better quality controllers. Now we can replace them each 6 months!

Re: The Wireless SNES Controller For Switch Unlocks Super Mario World Sound Effects

Alucard83

@Lizuka exactly. finally someone who is smart here. It's all about marketing indeed. Make people think it's indeed limited so they will buy it... people will get it asap when they read stuff like this. You will always have people who wants to be the first one who got an item. And we all know those people.. the one at school who got as first a Nintendo 8bit or Sega 8bit etc etc etc etc. It's all about business. But they can't fool me anymore

Re: Koji Igarashi Didn't Expect The Switch Version Of Bloodstained To Be "As Bad" As It Was At Launch

Alucard83

@Heavyarms55 but those titles are from Nintendo themself. They know their own hardware better and lets be honest besides BOW all other aren't really next gen either. Of course it's easier to get some of them 1080p although with 30fps... look at Zelda awakening remake? That games his frames issues as well. Switch is simply not strong enough to make a game smooth. 4gb ram on that system is a joke. They really should've gone with at least 6gb and i'm sure cpu would have a tad some help to maintain better fps. Yes with ram you can get a few more rams so your system is more stable. Nntendo went once again cheapmode and yet dares to ask same price like xbox or ps4 (basic ones) with 1tb or 500gb space and 10x stronger. Just saying

Re: Deals: This 400GB Micro SD Card Is Cheaper Than Ever And Perfect For Your Switch Lite

Alucard83

I bet the extra sales it had thanks to the Switch people were forced to get those. I bet the company saw some good sales and decided to make these even cheaper. And I bet Nintendo get some money from them as well. Because they are forcing people to get SD anyhow. A great smart marketing stuff... thank god i saw right through them but hey good for me as well now. Will take advantage and put it in my mobile buhahahaha THank you Nintendo buyers

Re: Just How Much Can Your Sealed Retro Games Sell For?

Alucard83

I wouldn't even pay 5 euro for it. I don't collect those old games anymore. I even threw away some SNES games in garbage. No boxes and say and people in Holland at certain websites wouldn't even give a 1 euro. I rather throw it a
way then selling to them

Re: Video: How The CPU Used To Cheat In Street Fighter II

Alucard83

Same also with DBZ Fighting.. when you play arcade mode the first 3 battles are ok. But the 4th battle suddenly it's harder to beat the CPU. It became also very annoying. After that I couldn't be bothered to play. I really dislike stressing while playing a game. I choose a mode normal I expect until the end all battles are at that level cap and not randomly suddenly way harder. That's why I dislike fighting games. you select a difficulty and still you get beat up... I guess since it has arcade mode they have to gain some money so put more coins at arcade.... something like that

Re: Video: How The CPU Used To Cheat In Street Fighter II

Alucard83

Same with Mortal Kombat... if you start Novice mode.. the first 3 characters can be defeated but at 4th you will start really having troubles. of course you lose and come back and when you lose like 2 times or something somehow the CPU difficulty is adjusted and you can defeat them. At least MK showed in Deadly Alliance the difficulty of the CPU on later stages by showing the % at each battle. Those % were lowered when you lost a battle so it became easier. That's how it works I guess... Kinda not fair... if I choose Novice level I expect ALL battles to be at that lowest level

Re: Masahiro Sakurai Is Appearing On Next Week's Dragon Quest XI S Launch Stream

Alucard83

@Patron VIII is slightly better IMO. The OST is way better in 8th game. XI isn't instrumental... simple melodies from SNES era I believe... maybe even NES. Nothing wrong with it, but if you have played 8th and go to this it won't capture you in the same way the OST. Well it's what it is. The good side of DQXI is that there is no random battles... monsters are roaming on road and you can fight them when you feel to. Sure 3DS got that part fixed but if you have only ps2 copy you will understand what I mean. If DQ8 ps2 didn't have random battles I would vote for DQ8 without doubt. For the OST and story alone. It was a bit darker as well. This is quite light

Re: Poll: Nintendo Switch Lite Is Out Today, Are You Getting One?

Alucard83

Simply no. I will wait for the next gen Switch . I can wait. I hope older games will be compitable with the new Switch in the future... PS5 will be ps4 compitable and I read only digital. Means people bought physical are FORCED to buy it digital. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo will do the same thing. So better save up your money!

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch Lite - Half A Switch, But That's More Than Enough For Some

Alucard83

I was interested, but then again the screen got even smaller and when you hold it I read people got some cramps because it's too small. This is absolute for children hands made. For adults... stick to original Switch. At least that is bigger and much much much more options. Because it has better batterylife doesn't it's better. Instead improving the Switch as it is they even went a step back. Putting a smaller screen of course it will use less battery

Re: PowerA's Fusion Fightpad For Switch Has Been Inspired By The Sega Saturn Controller

Alucard83

@MaxlRoseGNR Same goes for Xbox one Controller. Bought it for my PC. RB button (I didn't even play that much) suddenly it got a bit loose and when pressing it nothing happens in game unless I press 10x hard then it does something. And that for a 60 bucks controller. Even official ones are faulty. My old xbox 360 controller I have for 12 years and all buttons still works! My only problem is that the wires from inside isn't working that good... I get all the time disconnection. So I had to buy a new one and XBOX One controller doesn't deliver. I expected quality. I had one before as well and I dropped it a few times and I started to see how fragile it is. They ask the same price for a controller that doesn't even have quality. They went cheaper and still they ask from customers the same price. Quality dropped that's for sure. At least make sure you ask the right price instead of the 60 bucks. I went DPD brand. but that analog stick can get broken easily as well. Now I don't trust any brand atm

Re: Review: Ni no Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch - Level-5's RPG Classic Will Bewitch Your Switch

Alucard83

@SmaggTheSmug Ok. Thank you. Just play games that you like. Then this isn't for you indeed. You know in some games I do like to watch cutscenes because the story interest me, but when it's get to long and quite often it kinda gets annoying. I can skip in most games, but not in all. It feels like i'm in a locked cage wanting to get out so I can play... takes some time with some RPG games. But Ni No Kuni is fine to me because it has something magical and I love that . That's why it works for me, but also in this game you can skip all actually. But then again you won't get the story if it would be your first time. Each his own and that's fine right. Enjoy gaming

Re: The First Three Dragon Quest Games Are Coming To Switch In Europe And North America

Alucard83

@EarthboundBenjy this looks actually better than the mobile version. If you have played it you would see the difference. It's not just a port. They've redone some stuff here and there but the games itself is just great on mobile. Finally we get a proper console version instead mobile. These games belong on consoles as well. On the go on phone is great when you're traveling by train. But these 3 mobile gems deserve home console version. When I look at the pictures I want to have these games in my collection. Well each his own. To me they can't do wrong with what i'm seeing here. Way better and more charming than the mobile. Replay mobile then come back again and rewatch them

Re: Review: Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition - A Pure Work Of Magic

Alucard83

@Abeedo exactly and some games are reviewed by people here who isn't really into that type of games. It should've been reviewed who is more into that type of games because you speak for the people who are into that type of games..it's kinda annoying to read reviews that they miss this and that... duh this is a typical classic rpg... well it's what it is. That's why don't let the score cloud your judgement. if you see a game and you like what you see go for it. Try it yourself
