Re: Metroid Dread's Producer Would Like To See Samus In Her Own Movie One Day

Make it in the style of Netflix's Castlevania as some others stated above.

If it absolutely has to be live action then the actress needs to be somewhat tall. "Elizabeth Debicki" is over 6 feet tall and may be a good fit. If it has to be someone better known then maybe "Blake Lively" who's 5' 10" or "Karen Gillan" who's 5' 11" and dye her red hair blonde.

Please no Brie Larson or Scarlett Johanson for the love of all that is holy.

Re: Soapbox: We Need To Talk About The One Thing Nintendo Got Wrong With The Switch OLED

AlexSwitch10

I have the OLED and can confirm this IS definitely a problem for me. I cannot get the flap open with my fingers at all and I had zero issues with the original Switch's flap. My wife cannot open it either. Something as thick as a DS stylus point will not fit in the space to open it either.

I have a small plastic pry tool I use to open controllers/electronics and now I keep that in my Switch case and use that to open the flap carefully everytime. It's a pain, but I'll live with this solution for now.

Re: The Origami King Is Now The Fastest-Selling Paper Mario Game Ever

AlexSwitch10

I just 100%d the game last week, which was surprisingly quite difficult to do. I enjoyed it, but the battle system just got extremely annoying for me.

I've never liked solving little puzzles like that and to have to do it hundreds of times throughout the game, for every battle, on a time limit is torture and I will most likely never play through the game again because of it.

Re: Switch Hardware Sales Reach 68.3 Million, Now Nintendo's Second Best-Selling Home Console Ever

AlexSwitch10

@sanderev @X-blades @electrolite77 I see your points about VC/Gamecube/Wii games not bringing hardware sales, but I respectfully disagree for a couple of reasons.

Sure we've played the heck out of NES/SNES/N64 games over the years. But, Gamecube and Wii games would be a new thing and to be played on the best current portable screen, on the go? I think this alone would add immense value to the console, not just for the hardcore folks. That's one of the reasons we all went nuts for Mario 3D all stars recently and I know for a fact that title moved systems on its own.

Port over Metroid Prime Trilogy widescreen for example or some of the other recently done Zelda titles and see what it does for system sales. The portability just makes it very attractive.

Re: 505 Shuts Down Indivisible Production After Lab Zero Closure

AlexSwitch10

@Arckadius I know what you mean. I know I'll get my money back if it doesn't release, but I was still hoping for the physical U.S. copy.

On another note, wasn't 505 the same company that botched the port of "Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night" on the Switch originally? I still loved the game and 100%'d it in the Switch upon it's release, but I admit this was a poor porting job. Very noticeable difference when I went back and played it on the PC.

Re: 505 Shuts Down Indivisible Production After Lab Zero Closure

@Arckadius Same here. I've had this pre-ordered since May from Best Buy in the U.S. and they sent me on email on September 29th stating the following:

"We were just informed that the release date for (Indivisible, Nintendo Switch) has been updated to Tuesday, November 17, 2020.

You don't need to take any action at this time. We'll keep you posted if anything else changes, and we'll let you know as soon as it's ready."

I hope I get it.
