From what I'm comprehending, it's either motion controls or touch screen for Galaxy. Am I misunderstanding?
I dislike motion controls and I wish they would have converted a way to play with the pro controller and no waggling or pointing. Still worth it and I have my game pre-ordered.
I still have Indivisible pre-ordered at Best Buy and it has yet to be released physically in the US. I hope this unfortunate situation doesn't mean they won't fulfill those physical orders.
I bought it day one at Best Buy for the Switch and I played the heck out of it until I got to 100% despite some of the issues. The portability made the game so convenient to play.
I played it on PC a month later and really saw what I had been missing graphically and frame rate wise. Despite this I still love the Switch port and maybe they can learn from this to better optimize the port in the future.
The Genesis and the SNES versions were completely different from each other and great in their own ways. Which versions are included here is my question. If it's all of them then it would be 4 separate games so this is not clear. Still excited regardless.
I'm a huge fan of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link. I play through it and beat it about once a year. I know the game has a lot of haters because of how different it is, but for me it's my second favorite Zelda game behind Breath of the Wild.
Bring on a port of Super Mario 3D World from the WiiU! I never got a chance to play that one as I'm sure many others haven't. I bet it will top many sales charts.
I own Super Mario Maker 2 and it is not quite the same thing. I completed the story mode 100% and I played some online levels but I dislike making levels myself and generally the online nature of the game. I'm mostly a single player, offline fan. I prefer the Nintendo designed levels as well.
@Spoony_Tech It's quite alright, happens to me all the time lol. Good to see other people feel that way that I do when I say they need a redesign for all of us with issues.
I've fixed mine myself about 5 times already across 6 Joycons and it's annoying to have to keep doing it every few months. For some customers even the simple DIY solutions are daunting and I don't blame the consumers for feeling that way. Fix the root Nintendo.
@AshFoxX I agree with you. This is not enough and they need to redesign and replace the stick assembly with one's that will not drift as easily for free. Then I will call the matter resolved.
Until then this is a good start, they just need to take that extra step or else the problem will just keep returning and it's a major hassle to send these in and get them back over and over again.
@Darkyoshi98 I baby my main Nintendo Switch console and its Joycons. Never dropped, scratched and if it's not in my carefully clean hands it's safely in its case or dock. No one else uses it. I bought it in June 2017 brand new and experienced the drift for the first time in August out of nowhere.
After sending them in for repairs twice to Nintendo and experiencing the problem across my kids Switches and 6 different Joycons, I found out how to clean the sticks properly with 99% alcohol and a can of compressed air. It solves the problem for a couple of months but returns.
Its a hassle and definitely a design flaw on the sticks and the way they accumulate dust at the base. They need to redesign it for sure.
@Bunkerneath Yeah, maybe I missed it in the article or comments, but her actual age is never given. I've seen some very young grandparents as well as prehistoric ones and I'm curious to see where she falls in that range. Great accomplishment nonetheless.
The game is not unplayable on Switch as some would have you believe. However, I have not played the PS4/PC/XBOX versions so I can imagine going from those to the switch might be jarring.
I'm having a blast with it and I have full confidence in the fixes that are incoming.
I actually have had an issue where some of my games won't read when inserted into my switch. I've been able to fix this error with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip, cleaning the contacts on the game and drying out before reinsert in. I take immaculate care of my switch and my cartridges and I don't let any dust get to them so this puzzles me. Also if I remember correctly my Zelda game would not read day 1 out of the box back in 2017 and I had to reinsert several times. Must be a manufacturing error like the Joycon drift.
Cobra Kai is the best TV show I've seen in the last decade. Season 1 was better than season 2, but it's still better than anything in recent memory. I noticed the Switch immediately as I was watching S2.

Re: Get A Closer Look At Super Mario 3D All-Stars In This Nintendo Unboxing Video
So what are the chances that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is hidden on the game as a reward for completing all 3?
I know, I know, we can all dream.
Re: Get A Closer Look At Super Mario 3D All-Stars In This Nintendo Unboxing Video
@TG16_IS_BAE We won't know 100% for sure until the game starts being reviewed and played, but I assume all 3 games will be on the cartridge.
All of the 1st party released Nintendo Switch games I've bought physically have come complete and perfectly playable on the cartridge.
Of course if there are exceptions like bug fix updates and DLC which will have to be downloaded separately.

Re: Where To Pre-Order Super Mario 3D All-Stars On Nintendo Switch
Is Super Mario 3D World /Bowser's Fury also going to be a "limited release" like All Stars when it comes out in February?
It wasn't clear to me when I watched the Direct because there were a couple of things that seemed to have a limited or March time limit on them.
Re: Emulation Expert M2 Expects To Collaborate With Sega Again In The Future
Phantasy Star II please. Done in the same way as the Sega Ages PS1 with on the screen maps.
I'd love the PS generations remakes that came out on the Playstation 2 as well.

Re: Every Nintendo Switch Physical Release Announced During Limited Run Games' Livestream
We need CUPHEAD & ORI physical for Switch please!!!! Been holding off to get those physical.
Re: Every Nintendo Switch Physical Release Announced During Limited Run Games' Livestream
@Silly_G I agree on the Castlevania collection! I held off on pulling the trigger digitally because I was hoping for physical.
Ill pick up Castlevania and Bug Fables for sure. I already have the first Curse of the Moon digital so I may just get the 2nd one digital to match.
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Golf Games
I would love a new Mario Golf game on the Switch in the same style as the N64 and GameCube versions.
Maybe bring in some other Nintendo golfers like Link or Samus.
Re: Saber Interactive Removes All References From Social Media About Its Next Witcher 3 Update
Still a great game as is, no huge update needed.
Re: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Wins Award For Best Strategy Game Of 2019
Great game that deserved to win.
Re: Feature: Best Nintendo DS Games
@FantasiaWHT I have to agree with you on Final Fantasy VI being omitted. If it's there, I definitely missed it as well.
I saw FFIV on the list, which is my personal favorite, but FFVI is right up there with the greats.
Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For September And October
Zelda, Ghostbusters Remaster and Luigis Mansion for me!

Re: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Experiences "Best Digital Launch" In Franchise's History
I bought it physical on day 1 and it is my game of the year pick so far in 2019. The hype is legitimate. What a great game.

I would buy a 2.5d remake day 1, even at $60.00.

Re: Nintendo Releases Statement About Switch Joy-Con Drift Issue
A bunch of PR speak basically that neither confirms or denies anything.
Re: Executive Producer Of Wolfenstein: Youngblood Says The Switch Version Is "A Miracle"
@FX29 I agree. If Panic button handled the Bloodstained ROTN port it would have been perfection.
Re: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night Switch Fix Expected To Arrive Soon
This is NOT the patch we asked for. It's late and fixes nothing fans have pleaded with the developers to fix. What a disappointment.
