Re: Get A Closer Look At Super Mario 3D All-Stars In This Nintendo Unboxing Video

@TG16_IS_BAE We won't know 100% for sure until the game starts being reviewed and played, but I assume all 3 games will be on the cartridge.

All of the 1st party released Nintendo Switch games I've bought physically have come complete and perfectly playable on the cartridge.

Of course if there are exceptions like bug fix updates and DLC which will have to be downloaded separately.

Re: Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night On Switch Had Biggest Response, Sales Were "Well Above" Expectations

I bought it day one at Best Buy for the Switch and I played the heck out of it until I got to 100% despite some of the issues. The portability made the game so convenient to play.

I played it on PC a month later and really saw what I had been missing graphically and frame rate wise. Despite this I still love the Switch port and maybe they can learn from this to better optimize the port in the future.

@FantasiaWHT I have to agree with you on Final Fantasy VI being omitted. If it's there, I definitely missed it as well.

I saw FFIV on the list, which is my personal favorite, but FFVI is right up there with the greats.

Bring on a port of Super Mario 3D World from the WiiU! I never got a chance to play that one as I'm sure many others haven't. I bet it will top many sales charts.

I own Super Mario Maker 2 and it is not quite the same thing. I completed the story mode 100% and I played some online levels but I dislike making levels myself and generally the online nature of the game. I'm mostly a single player, offline fan. I prefer the Nintendo designed levels as well.

Re: Nintendo Will Reportedly Fix Joy-Con Drift For Free And Refund Customers Who Paid

@Spoony_Tech It's quite alright, happens to me all the time lol. Good to see other people feel that way that I do when I say they need a redesign for all of us with issues.

I've fixed mine myself about 5 times already across 6 Joycons and it's annoying to have to keep doing it every few months. For some customers even the simple DIY solutions are daunting and I don't blame the consumers for feeling that way. Fix the root Nintendo.

Re: Nintendo Will Reportedly Fix Joy-Con Drift For Free And Refund Customers Who Paid

@AshFoxX I agree with you. This is not enough and they need to redesign and replace the stick assembly with one's that will not drift as easily for free. Then I will call the matter resolved.

Until then this is a good start, they just need to take that extra step or else the problem will just keep returning and it's a major hassle to send these in and get them back over and over again.

Re: Class Action Lawsuit Officially Filed Against Nintendo For Switch Joy-Con "Drifting" Issues

AlexSwitch10

@Darkyoshi98 I baby my main Nintendo Switch console and its Joycons. Never dropped, scratched and if it's not in my carefully clean hands it's safely in its case or dock. No one else uses it. I bought it in June 2017 brand new and experienced the drift for the first time in August out of nowhere.

After sending them in for repairs twice to Nintendo and experiencing the problem across my kids Switches and 6 different Joycons, I found out how to clean the sticks properly with 99% alcohol and a can of compressed air. It solves the problem for a couple of months but returns.

Its a hassle and definitely a design flaw on the sticks and the way they accumulate dust at the base. They need to redesign it for sure.

Re: Be Wary Of Inserting Faulty Switch Game Cards Into Your Console, Warns Japanese Repair Store

AlexSwitch10

I actually have had an issue where some of my games won't read when inserted into my switch. I've been able to fix this error with some rubbing alcohol and a q-tip, cleaning the contacts on the game and drying out before reinsert in. I take immaculate care of my switch and my cartridges and I don't let any dust get to them so this puzzles me. Also if I remember correctly my Zelda game would not read day 1 out of the box back in 2017 and I had to reinsert several times. Must be a manufacturing error like the Joycon drift.
