We might not be getting Cuphead's 'Delicious Last Course' DLC this year, but that doesn't mean you necessarily have to go without any Cuphead-themed goodness over the holiday season.
According to a listing on Amazon, PowerA will be releasing a Nintendo Switch Enhanced Wireless Controller based on StudioMDHR's run and gun. It's the same controller you may or may not know and love - featuring Bluetooth 5.0, motion controls, mappable advanced gaming buttons, ergonomic design, LEDs and can run for up to 30 hours on two AA batteries.
Cuphead's PowerA Enhanced Wireless Switch Controler is priced at $49.99 (or your regional equivalent), is scheduled to be released on 15th December and pre-orders are now available. Is this the controller you've been waiting for? Tell us below.

GOOD DAY FOR A SWELL CONTROLLER NOW BUY!!
So does it require a dongle still?
Das sexay AF.
I'm grateful these controllers have so many missing features though. I'm already up to my neck in Joy-Con and Pro Controllers. I wouldn't be able to resist a lot of these PowerA controllers had they offered all features (and a rechargeable battery).
Oooo that is nice!
Just too many functions missing for me to buy one of these even if it is gorgeous
Never played Cuphead as I don't have the patience for super difficult games but that design is really nice!
@Silly_G I actually like that the PowerA doesn't have rumble as the lightness of the controller feels nicer in my hands than something heavy. Having to buy batteries for it sucks though.
I know it's a Cuphead controller...but he's the only part of the design that I don't like 😂
Love that collectors box too!
a nice looking controller switch has so many cool controllers
When is this going to be physical
I think it’s Fugly. I would prefer the original pro controller
@Buckyooliver when you gonna read the article ?
@Reaktor can’t be bothered to read it , always dribble
@Reaktor when is the game physical then
Now that's sexy.
Makes sense- Cuphead has caused so many controllers to be broken, he should be providing replacements
@Buckyooliver I agree with you. I've held off on buying digital and have been waiting on a physical release of the actual game. Maybe the controller is a sign of a physical to come soon?
@AlexSwitch10 I hope so it’s been a long wait
@Buckyooliver I’m assuming that they’re waiting to include the Delicious Last Course dlc, that got pushed to 2021
@adh56 fair enough
I dig cuphead, but this design looks like a block of artificial cheese.
They do some lovely controllers, but I'd rather pay a premium for a fully featured pro with these designs if I'm honest.
Pretty cute and all but, when can i have it physical for switch?
Like the look of this controller, might well get one.
@Clyde_Radcliffe Can you use rechargable AA batteries in the controller?
I remember with the old Gameboy you were only supposed to use non- rechargable batteries. Not that it stopped me 😁
@wazlon Yeah, you can! I didn't know you weren't meant to use them with the Gameboy.
@Clyde_Radcliffe Thanks for the information. Think I'll get a Power A controller after what you've said, a lighter controller sounds great.
I think with the Gameboy it was to do with rechargable batteries having a slightly different voltage. Didn't make a difference for me though.
If you think joycon drift badly just wait till you try the powerA ones!
I almost love it. Almost. But the fact that they could have made a more interesting design aside (which obviously is a matter of personal preference, and I don't really dislike this one either or anything), not being rechargeable on its own, and the design being slightly misplaced (like the dust cloud not being perfectly centered around the face buttons) make it end up something nice but not for me.
@HollowSpectre Do they drift?
@Snatcher I've got 2 of the one above with different designs and yeah the left stick on both is completely f#!ked on both. I opened them up and gave them a clean but one is still unusable and one works half the time. The wireless gamecube style one still works fine so I guess it's luck of the draw! But I'd stick to pro controllers. Or 8bitdo.
@HollowSpectre Thanks for the help pal now i'm thinking on trying them just to see how I feel about them.
@Snatcher No prob there cheap enough not to break the bank.
Is Power A a good brand? Their controllers have cool designs and are attractively priced, but I worry about quality.
