@Mogster yeah weird. if people dont feel like playing games right now because of iwata passing away then that is fine. but the reasoning behind it doesnt have to be logical for everyone.

i actually started using my 3DS way more after his death than before (in the last weeks).

zero interesting games for me on the 3DS in the next months. good thing i still have a pc

oh yes. this as an EX version for nintendos next handheld. that'd be nice!

that's really cheap and i always wanted such a case! i just fear that the next nintendo handheld will use a medium (cartridge or not) that won't fit into that case. that'd be really stupid :/

the (almost) partnership of nintendo and sony is one of the most interesting tales in the history of the videogame industry.
what would have happened if it became reality? i could think about that all day long^^
in the end i think sony sooner or later would have begun making their own system anyway. they had all the resources to do so.

@A01 seriously look at the videos and screenshots. the environments look totally empty and undetailed! the criticism about the visuals is not about resolution.

@technotreegrass what? are you actually saying nintendo did a good job with this trailer? the game looks awful. there is absolutely no denying it. it doesnt matter if other companies make there games look way better in trailers than the games actually look like when they are released.
fact is: this game looks weak

wow the visuals were so incredible bad. the enviroments had no details at all. how can you make a trailer for E3 with such a bad looking game??

weird. miiverse support is not even mentioned for the 3DS version. i dont think the game will not have miiverse on any system.

okay so while i think the pool looks freaking awesome (i would love to skate there!), i kinda question nintendos PR strategy. their last commercials show nothing from the games themselfs. the new yoshi game is advertised with the amiibo figure and now splatoon is advertised with skating? wtf?

after playing the demo i have to say it is a fun game and i will surely get this some day, BUT the setting is horrible! basically what almost all modern nintendo IPs have to suffer from.
