@antdickens huh...well i will probably set the timeline page as my nintendolife-bookmark now.
it's funny how the mobile version of this site is way more clear and structured than the desktop version. usually it's the other way around. still can't understand why this has been changed in the first place. did someone need work? you should play more games and do less unnecessary work
edit:
oh btw the "features" are displayed two times on the homepage. first with the big tiles and second as a list on the right. i really don't wanna insult anyone here but...what were you thinking???
edit2:
alright let's keep going with the editing of this post:
instead of doing a crappy new design for the site why don't you try to implement a message system? that's something the community has been asking for for years. i know it's harder than just redesigning the site but a message system would REALLY improve this site and help building up a strong community.
looks worse than before. where is the benefit? seriously. ask that yourself before changing the design. all you really need is the news listed. i dont care for all the other stuff. never used these tiles and what not...
the hardware looks great, but in the end it all comes down to the games. so far the lineup for 2017 looks good. not great but certainly not bad either. no doubt this will be way more succesfull than the WiiU.
no analogue triggers is a huge letdown. one of the best innovations in controller design IMO. really helps with immersion in racing games and shooters. the bigger the triggers, the better!
@DragonbornRito yeah some sites did not work well. but if you find the right page then you can use that feature really good. i bookmarked a page for link's awakening walkthrough for example.
@tsm7 exactly. super mario run was a huge success. 90million people downloaded the demo and played a mario game again. would be interesting to see how many of these people havent played a mario game in 10 years or so. pokemon go boosted the sales for pokemon games on 3ds. maybe when this will come out for android we will see the new mario game for switch and it will boost sales too
well the north american times are totally okay. i dont understand why you guys have a problem with that. are you already asleep at 11pm?? european times however are insane. probably no one will get up at 5am in the morning to watch that stream.
would definet5ly get super mario sunshine. never played it, because i never had a gamecube. other than that i probably wouldnt buy any other gamecube game. already had the metroid trilogy for wii. maybe eternal darkness?
first played this back on virtual console on wii. cant imagine how great this game must have been when it was originally released on NES. the track designer alone is amazing
@PlywoodStick no it is not stealing. stealing would be if the digital item would be lost from the original source. but it is not. it's being copied. that is just something totally different.
and a copy is just like you said: a POTENTIAL loss in sales. potential! just because someone copies a game doesnt mean that the person would have bought the game if copying didn't work.
@jimi a pirate is someone who takes something from someone. that someone loses that item. copying media is not pirating. nobody loses anything. the item is not taken it is being copied.
that's not much. i was expecting 6 or 8 gigs. i know a handheld doesnt need that much in comparision to pc or so but this is suppose to be a console, too, with games like skyrim remastered. i hope the OS wont need much RAM then this might work out okay.

Re: Site News: Nintendo Life is Red, Nintendo Life was Blue
@JaxonH it's like people comparing windows 7 to windows 8. but i have yet to meet a person who prefers windows 8.

Re: Here Are The File Sizes For All Of The Nintendo Switch's Launch Day Downloads
wow fast is under 1gb
Re: Site News: Nintendo Life is Red, Nintendo Life was Blue
i really dislike the new design. the tiles on the homepage are so irritating. just give me a proper list of the newest articles. that's all we need.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet
the hardware looks great, but in the end it all comes down to the games. so far the lineup for 2017 looks good. not great but certainly not bad either.
no doubt this will be way more succesfull than the WiiU.

Re: Feature: A Breakdown of the Nintendo Switch eShop Games of 2017
@rferrari24 no i think that game has been announced like 2 years ago. everyone was comparing it to jet set radio, if you ever heard about that gem
Re: SteamWorld Dig 2 is Digging Its Way Onto the Nintendo Switch in Summer
finally !!! the first one was one of the best games on 3DS. i hope this also comes to pc as i'm not yet convinced of getting a switch any time soon
Re: Nintendo Switch Battery Test Reveals Some Surprising Results
it doesn't make sense to test the devices without games running.
so the 3DS lasts 2.5hours in home menu?? well my 3ds lasts longer playing a game. stupid test
Re: Virtual Console Will Not Be Ready For Nintendo Switch Launch
nintendo always lacks some online features at their console launches i think. nothing surprising here
Re: Gallery: Here's How Nintendo Switch Game Cards Compare To Practically Everything Else
wow even smaller than the 3DS cartridges. that's even only thing that surprises me
Re: Million-Selling Urban Trial Freestyle Is Getting An Exclusive 3DS Sequel This Year
oh finally. the first one was really cool. it only lacked the feature to share tracks online. i guess the problem is solved now^^

@DragonbornRito yeah some sites did not work well. but if you find the right page then you can use that feature really good. i bookmarked a page for link's awakening walkthrough for example.
Re: Nintendo Switch Lacks A Web Browser Because It's A "Dedicated Video Game Platform"
wow that's a bummer. the browser on 3DS was not great but it was good enough to search for a walkthrough when you are stuck in a game.
Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Expects Nintendo Switch To Sell "About As Well" As The Wii
lol no
Re: Parent Trap: Nintendo Switch Parental Controls Beat Console Rivals To The Punch

Re: Editorial: Cutting Edge Visual Splendour vs. 60 Frames-Per-Second - Between a Rock and a Hard Place
6ofps has big influence in the gameplay and control. so i'd rather have a fluid 60fps than some overused effects.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo Switch Will Have Super Mario And Skyrim At Launch, Splatoon Coming As Pack-In
sounds awesome !!
maybe bethesda didnt confirm skyrim remastered for switch, because they thought it could hurt the sales for pc, ps4 and xbox one versions.
Re: Weirdness: Streamer Claims To Have Nintendo Switch, Flaunts It During Live Broadcast
that guys live-reaction video to the switch reveal was hilarious!
