Game balance is definitely improved. No more spamming 3 points every trip down the court. Only a couple moments of lag in the games I've played online.

A Nintendo playable character?

Switch version for me.

The presentation was mostly boring to me to be honest. There was awesome stuff in there but the way they presented it was ho hum.

Eshop is not great when compared to the rival offerings but it's the best Nintendo has done so far.

All filler, no killer.

I don't think either the lingerie or Nintendo costumes belong in the game.

It's clear Nintendo don't give a rats &$$ about VC. Funny thing is they'll probably announce it as a service on NX and expect people to buy the few they release again.

Xenoblade, Project Zero and Fast racing. Only good thing about such a scarce line up is that I'll have plenty of money to spend on my other systems this holiday.

Hope it makes it our way, I love these Sega 3d classics.

Casuals will eat it up.

Well I wasn't expecting cross buy when I bought the 3ds version anyway. No big deal for me.

Also why is every unannounced title thought to be an NX title? Iwata himself said their priority was satisfying Wii U owners.

I have it on 3ds digitally so I'll grab the Physical copy on Wii U.

I think I'll stick with 3D over HD. Nice that the option is there though.

Suddenly the latest round of Smash DLC makes sense. Ryu, Virtua Fighter and Tekken costumes.

Where is the benefit to Nintendo to emulate Android on their system? Gamers don't want mobile games on their gaming system and mobile users aren't buying dedicated gaming hardware to play games already available on their phone/tablet. What's the point?

@EllenJMiller I'd love them to continue but I'd like to see them expand beyond 2d titles. I'd like 3d Classic Daytona, Sega Rally, Virtua Fighter etc.

Will it come to Australia though? Sega forgot about us the last round of 3d classics.

I'll try gyro first and only if I can't come to grips with it will I try without.

Good news for Splatoon

1 match for the whole hour for me too, it was a huge disappointment.

@manu0 took me a while. It's a small icon to the left of the $ sign at the very bottom. It does look like the top of the Wii U logo.

@CrazyMetroid You think it's stupid to own valuable IP? You don't think Nintendo would have made their money back from owning Banjo Kazooie, Battletoads, Killer Instinct, Conker, Perfect Dark etc.?

That sales chart is just plain bad, even 3ds numbers have tanked. No wonder so many Japanese devs, Nintendo included, are looking to the mobile market.

@CrazyMetroid Employees come and go but I believe that Rare would have been worth purchasing for the IP's they own not what talent was left. Ip's Nintendo could have developed themselves from then on or passed to partners.

It really cheeses me off that us Aussies miss out so many games that I'd actually like to purchase. It's not just smaller Indie publishes either, we haven't gotten any of the last wave of Sega 3d Classics.

@CrazyMetroid As a majority shareholder Nintendo was offered the other %51 of Rare. They refused to pay the amount asked opening the door for Microsoft. So it was Nintendo's choice to allow Rare and its IP's to get away. Perhaps you should look closer to home when looking for an "uninformed fool". ;P

@SanderEvers it was Nintendo's choice to sell Rare. Why would you be angry at Microsoft?

It's not exactly free fun when you have to buy Amiibo is it? Couldn't be less interested myself but as a way of introducing new Nintendo users to Ninty's back catalogue it's actually pretty smart.

Considering the Sega 3d classics are skipping Australia, nothing for me this week.

This will do well among the Nintendo core but it won't sell systems. To the larger audience its a kiddy shooter without voice chat.

I'd love to see it, the Banjo games on 64 are some of my favourites.

I've been looking forward to this for ages. Sadly it didn't release here in Australia.

@Windy No way Nintendo would undermine the "new" 3ds version of Xenoblade sales by rereleasing the Wii version so cheaply.

@Nintendian The "New" 3ds does support 3d Youtube videos.

The Wii U probably won't make Gamecube numbers in its life. Will this matter? Not much IMHO. 3rd parties are gone and aren't coming back. Nintendo's own software has very high attach rates and with Amiibo they'll return to profitability which will allow them to ride the console out.

That's a lot of Zen Pinball, I'll get them all.
