In exciting news, 3D Out Run, 3D Thunder Blade, 3D Fantasy Zone and its sequel have now been made available on the Australian 3DS eShop for $6.50 each.
Out Run and the original Fantasy Zone were originally expected to launch alongside the wider PAL releases earlier this year, but never made an appearance locally to Aussie fans’ dismay.
This followed with the Australian Classification Board rating the two titles alongside Fantasy Zone II and Thunder Blade towards the end of March – providing enough evidence to confirm the SEGA 3D Classics were still coming to Australia.
With all of these titles now finally available to download from the 3DS eShop in Australia, let us know in the comments if you’re willing to put aside previous troubles to play these classic SEGA hits.

Good news for Australians . . . but I REALLY need OutRun on my Wii U. Please please please!!
Any word for North America? I heard Streets of Rage 2, Sonic 2 and Gunstar Hero was coming, but nothing about Fantasy Life.
3D Outrun is about the best thing ever. I've poured more than 50 hours into that game, so addictive.
Finally! Now I don't have to worry as we're definitely getting Gunstar Heroes eventually.
Thanks for the Aussie coverage nintendolife!
aussie, wii !
Thanks for the update. What will I complain about now though?
Thank god for that! It's sucked waiting for these but at least they will all be released together. Saves me buying the JP machine now.
I will download them all later today when I get to my wi-fi
They are!......... Runs to 3ds.
I'll take both Fantasy Zones thanks. I played the hell out of the first one on my Master System when I was a kid. Such a trippy game.
Woohoo! 😍🎉💥🎊🎈✨
It took them this long to release these games in Australia?!?
Outrun and Fantasy Zone 2 are probably the best Sega 3D classics games. Fantastic representatives of the Sega's arcade spirit
I look forward to getting Gunstar Heroes in 2020
