Re: Preview: Going Solo in Splatoon 2's Single Player Hero Mode

-Green-

Wasn't finding the levels also tedious in the original Splatoon? I recall seeing people get annoyed with finding some in the first game as well.

Anyways, according to Gamexplain, the main downside the reviewer found was with the Single Player music. Saying something around the lines of it not being as notable and more low-key. Personally, I didn't find the Single Player soundtrack to be as memorable. I only remember like two or three themes from the entire thing.

Re: New Adventure Time And Ben 10 Games Are Coming To A "Nintendo Platform"

Adventure Time was one of the better things to happen to CN as far as I'm aware. It really helped revitalize the channel and set a new standard for it. A lot of the people involved in it went on to make a bunch of different shows and you can argue that a lot of the shows featured on CN are somewhat similar to Adventure Time.

Re: First Impressions: Beginning Our Journey With Super Mario Odyssey on Nintendo Switch

Gamexplain as a whole noted that Mario also controls slowly and heavier in this game. Apparently similar to how he did in 3D World and not like how he did in Sunshine and 64. I don't play Mario games very often, with my last one being 3D Land so I'm not sure whether that should be a point of concern or not. Although, they did make a couple of extra points as to how he moves remarkably fast when doing tricks.

Re: Video: Can You "Button Mash" Your Way to Victory in ARMS?

-Green-

@CaitlinMA Me too, I tried to frequently dodge as well so I could avoid several attacks. The only issue is that people started to just wait for you to land to do a quick grab, since they know where you'll be for the most part.

Edit: I'm not sure why people care so much if you can win smaller games with button mashing. It seems like such a hollow critique.

Re: Feature: The Big ARMS Direct Summary and the Key Question - Did It Win You Over?

-Green-

It looks fun. So I'll probably buy it.

I'm not sure how one can believe the game is shallow in regards to its gameplay. Unless maybe they hold a higher standard and are comparing it to some form of fairly complex game that I'm not aware of. The game has interactive 3D enivronments with characters of different sizes with different abilities. Along with a multitude of different glove options that each vary in general capabilities. I'd appreciate it if someone could explain it to me, because up to this point whenever I state this to someone they never really respond. The only time I can see it really being nothing but spam, so far, has been in the usage of the specials.

Btw, does anyone know if characters interact differently with different gloves. Say for example if Ribbon Girl would be weighed down by Megaton and hit slower when compared to Master Mummy.

Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Nintendo's E3 2017 Plans?

-Green-

I'm like, whatever. The past years were not very good imo, and it's still like a month away. While I'd like to say I'm hopeful, Nintendo has shown that they are very capable at doing poorly at E3 and lowering my already low expectations. At least for me anyways. So I'm very "eh" about their E3 overall.

Re: Talking Point: Defining a Sequel and How It Affects Games Like Splatoon 2

-Green-

I use to take a rather large class that revolved around questions like this. The discussions can be thought provoking but rarely ended in anything beyond discussion. In this case, I feel like it will be similar to several of the examples in my class.

Edit: Just to clarify, my comment is made regarding the topic of whether or not it is a sequel.

Re: Playtonic Removes JonTron's Voice from Yooka-Laylee

A bit off topic, but at it's basic level it really is stupid that humans place so much significance on the pigmentation of one's skin or the place of their birth.

Edit: Should probably clarify a point. Although it's a pretty meaningless comment.
