@Moon It's a difficult game, but you'll do a lot better if you just play cautiously. As in don't rush in anywhere, so the game doesn't gut punch you, but be prepared to get cheap shotted a lot.
When starting off in the series the bosses are mostly trial and error. So they can be a wall to some people, but they become much easier the more you get used to them.
@SegaBlueSky I'd say they could improve a fair amount of things in DS1. Its world is the best in the series but it has some areas that could definitely be improved and fixed. Lost Izalith most notably.
The comments here differ greatly from other comment sections I commonly see. It’s always a bit interesting to see how different view points can be depending on the site and audience.
One of my main gripes is that they always throw out cool side activities, in favor of one and done or someday possibly bringing it back. It’s disappointing that they shuffle out things like Pokémon contests, olympics, safari and stuff like that they could really develop but instead just abandon until a later date.
Incredibly sudden for that Pikachu. It's not surprising for Pokemon to talk. The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series has Pokemon speaking effectively and consistently with one another but Ash's Pikachu which basically has always said "Pika pika!" is very much a "wait what" moment.
Pokemon who speak generally have special circumstances that justify their ability to speak with humans as well.
@scottienigma I wouldn't buy it either, tbh. Doesn't offer enough new stuff to catch and likely hold my attention. Not to mention, I'm tired of these types of releases.
@Oat I haven't actually played the game, tbh, but from what my friend told me, she said it was mostly an issue of it being a remake of Metroid 2. She ended up liking the game, despite disliking the original, but the general structure of it brought it down for her.
From what I seen of it though, it seems like a fine game.
@BLP_Software "I think Sonic fans have enough crap on their plate without everyone else dumping on em!"
That's just how things happen a lot of the time. If you're a fan of something unpopular get used to hearing other people dislike or hate on it for a good while. Even if what they say is untrue/misinformed.
@IceClimbers So basically lala land. Nice writing whoever writes these fanfics.
On a separate note, I'm okay with fan service if it's done tactfully and with purpose/creativity. Hopefully this isn't just another case of a boring cameo like Grimsely from the previous games.

Re: Sega Is Getting Ready To Show Us What's Next For Sonic The Hedgehog
Already?! They work fast.
Re: Review: Pokémon Crystal Version (3DS eShop)
I think this is basically the only Pokémon game I ever lost. Pokémon Gold all the way!
Re: The .52 Gal Deco is Blasting Its Way To Splatoon 2 This Weekend
Good subs and special. Not sure if they match the weapon, since .52 is more of a close range fighter and is not too fast at killing.
Re: Labo's Cardboard Revolution Adds Almost $1.4 billion to Nintendo's Value
@thesilverbrick obvious difference/distinctions, but roughly the same critiques I recall.
Re: Labo's Cardboard Revolution Adds Almost $1.4 billion to Nintendo's Value
@thesilverbrick sounds sort of like the initial Switch reaction I saw around the web, not gonna lie.
Re: Nintendo Announces Labo, A Range Of Interactive DIY Toys For Switch
It's really adorable. In a heart warming way.
Re: Splatoon 2 Version 2.2.0 Is Now Live
Bubble Blower needed the nerf. Not sure if it's enough, but it has always been ridiculous.
Re: Alas, The World's Best Smash Bros. For Wii U Player Is Retiring
Respect to ZeRo. Being in the spotlight of basically any community is difficult.
Re: Rumour: Dark Souls Remastered Will Be Announced Today In A Nintendo Direct Mini
I wonder how Laura figures this stuff out. She's basically always right with her Nintendo leaks. She must have great sources.

Re: Nintendo Direct Mini Is Happening Right Now
Yep. Exactly like I thought it would turn out.

Re: Rumour: Dark Souls Remastered Will Be Announced Today In A Nintendo Direct Mini
I would love to play Dark Souls again!!
Re: Blatant Splatoon Mobile Rip-Off Has Resurfaced in China
The beginning of the music sort of reminded of a worse version of another piece from a soundtrack. Perhaps Pokémon.
Another part is a straight up copy of the Splatoon soundtrack just distorted.

Let’s make fun of both.
Re: Super Sonic Is Coming to Sonic Forces as DLC
@carlos82 ‘stares at Master Mode’ 😤
Re: ARMS Version 5.0 Is Now Live
Nice touch how her hair is lightning shaped like her logo.
Re: Poll: Surprise! A New Zelda Is In Development, But What Do You Want From It?
How about a combo of traditional plus Botw, with added development on the mechanics and better story.
Re: Review: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (3DS)
@scottienigma You asked if I would buy it if it was named something else, and I responded that I wouldn't. Am I missing something here?
By "these types of releases" I mean alternate versions of the same Pokemon game with small differences.
Re: Mega Man 11 Confirmed For Switch In 2018
@WaveBoy #36 If you don't want it, I'll take it.
Re: Zelda: Breath of the Wild Broadcast Confirmed for Japan on 12th December
Ready for disappointment!!!
Re: Rumour: Leaked EA Email Apparently Confirms January Nintendo Direct
I expect one in Jan.
Re: Random: Pokémon Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over Pikachu Talking
@ShadJV Oh yeah, forgot about Sceptile. Fair enough.
Re: Random: Pokémon Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over Pikachu Talking
@ShadJV I mean they speak to the human character who is turned into a Pokemon. It could be either way.
Re: Random: Pokémon Fans Are Losing Their Minds Over Pikachu Talking

@GrailUK But momma told me never to lie mister.
Re: Nintendo Scoops Plenty of Nominations for The Game Awards
PUBG for GOTY! Let's make it happen!
Re: Review: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (3DS)
@3dsgeek333 I mean as in make it better. Improving upon it. Not removing it entirely.
Re: Review: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (3DS)
Btw, did USUM address SM's more annoying elements?
Does the game still run poopy? Did they fix the festival plaza or alleviate the SOS system? Is the handholding less apparent? Stuff like that.
You guys didn't really address too much beyond the new features.
Re: Review: Pokémon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon (3DS)
Wow. Wasn't expecting a 10/10.
Edit: I'm not gonna buy them though. I don't think it's wise to support these types of releases.
Re: SplatNet 2 Update Adds Salmon Run Schedule and Improved Store Visibility
@BenAV Oh yes. You're right. I remembered incorrectly.
It was in game where you were able to see the full schedule. I haven't played in a while.
Re: SplatNet 2 Update Adds Salmon Run Schedule and Improved Store Visibility
You could already see the schedule previously. I'm assuming they just made it easier to see and find.
Re: Ubisoft Thinks The Next Console Cycle Isn't Far Away, So Where Does That Leave Switch?
Switch 2 Babee!
Re: Movie Review: Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!
30 years and Ash is still 10.
Re: Review: Sonic Forces (Switch)
Game is janky as heck. Imo, it swings mostly between eh and mediocre, with some instances of genuine fun.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Direct Coming November 7th
@PlywoodStick 😂. Dude, you're like my favorite poster on this site.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Nintendo Direct Coming November 7th
I really can't get behind how some of these characters look. Just so generic and sexualized.
Which is a shame in my case, since the world actually looks pretty and I actually like a couple of them.

Re: Video: You Might Want To Make A Drink Before Watching This Metroid History Feature
@Yalaa If an excuse is necessary, it'll probably be that it's a bad game/a remake/coming out on a dying console (not on the switch)/AM2R is better.
Re: Random: SEGA Goes for Laughs in Eggman Promotion for Sonic Forces
@Ardisan I was trying to be cutesy, but okay 😌. The point was mostly to get used to seeing other people to hate on stuff you may like.

So does this confirm Lysandre is alive? Also that Cyrus is not trapped in the Distortion World anymore?
Kind of weird to just shove these boring guys in there.
Re: EA Says It's Still Too Early To Judge Demand For More Games On Switch
That sucks for the Switch tbh.
Re: Review: Super Mario Odyssey (Switch)
@gcunit but Polygon gave it a 9.5.

Re: Nintendo Titles Get Pushed Down the Japanese Charts as Switch Clings Onto Top Spot
GG Sony-chan.
Re: Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Will Arrive on Mobile in Late November
I'm so getting it. Free game for me, and I won't spend a dime.
