Re: Site News: Say Hello To Zion, Our New Video Guy

Sorry to sound a bit horrid here but as happy that I am that there’s even more choice on Nintendolife for video content I only decide to watch the ones with @Alexolney in fact I’m not a huge fan of the joint ones either. I think Zion should be reporting the news for our friends in the US or provide special US updates for us in the UK/Europe for example Zion should do all the E3 announcements or games that are released in the US first

Re: Win A Pair Of Detective Pikachu Movie Tickets From Nintendo UK

My thoughts exactly, if there was some surprise element I could justify entering it but as I’m planning to see it when it’s released 9 days prior to the London screening and the fact it would probably cost me about £50 to get there I could just make it it a treat here by seeing the move and going to eat out

Re: Sonic The Hedgehog Movie Gets Its First Official Trailer, And It's Definitely Something

Right I might get some hate comments here but here goes
The whole Dr Robotnik thing isn’t too bad, in fact I think Carey is a good choice
Now as an adult who games every day and that grew up with Sonic I think this Sonic looks terrible!
However if they are going for a younger audience well I just showed this my 10 year old daughter who says Sonic looks a bit weird but the film looks like it’s going to be good
So looks like I’ll be seeing it 😂

Re: Sony Responds To Nintendo's Success With Its Very Own PlayStation Classic Mini Console

@Haywired my notifications haven’t had some much activity for ages lol at least you are saying Sony have copied on this occasion

I have to agree with @Donutman tho that Sony do make it more apparent that they copy Nintendo, I mean arguably you could say if Nintendo didn’t stab Sony in the back in the first place we wouldn’t see the PS at all

I work with retro systems and retro events all the time, and I’m yet to see the mini versions of Atari and Sega that was released before 2000 at events. We have a PSone here so doubt I’ll pick this up

Re: Hands On: The Future Of Gaming Is Cardboard, Thanks To Nintendo Labo

wolvesboy

Right, I’m 37 and a dad of 2 girls, did it blow me away, no. However when my kids see this I think it will make them very excited. My only concern is if the cardboard breaks, which cardboard can do as my kids drive cardboard cars, can a replacement set be bought cheaply enough. Still for all the naysayers you gotta admit it that you didn’t see this coming 😂
