Re: Bridge Constructor Portal Is Coming To Switch On February 28th

uhhhhhhhh

Sweet, 1 step closer to getting portal on the switch. First the pinball table and now this.

I joked about the Skyrim skin in Minecraft Wii U being ‘the closest we would ever get to having Skyrim on a Nintendo console’ and I couldn’t be more happy I was wrong! Cross fingers something similar happens here lol

Re: First Labo's Cardboard Piano, Now KORG Gadget Lets You Make Music With Your Joy-Cons

uhhhhhhhh

I have a ridiculous amount of iOS apps, but use the korg gadget the most, by far! Like every day.

I have a lot of questions: will the usb support a usb midi controller? Does it come with all the gadgets? Will I be able to convert/export the files? Will it have access to the SoundCloud/alihoopa sharing thing?

I mean .... I’ll probab get it either way but the gadget NEEDS multiple midi controllers to truly shine!!

Re: Soapbox: Is Super Mario Odyssey the Best Mario Game Ever?

uhhhhhhhh

64 is inherently better, being more original and cohesive imo

Galaxy (1 & 2) was better for being more ‘groundbreaking’ imo

Odyssey is amazing for the extremely high level of ‘Mario-branding’ it has, like Disney-world-caliber of quality branding, but still feels a little too secular to me compared to 64 and even galaxy for it to be ‘better’, which probably wouldn’t be that big of a deal to me except that it was marketed as such an ‘openworld’ Mario game, which it is not. It’s open world in the same way that the new Kirby and Metroid games are “2.5 D” instead of 2D or 3D lol

Re: Digital Foundry Gives Its Full Analysis of DOOM on Nintendo Switch

uhhhhhhhh

I’ve only encountered two issues. Both had easy fixes. The motion blur hurt my eyes and there have been a couple sound glitches for me. I went to settings and turned off motion blur, and unplugged my headphones on the sound problem. [the sound problem was a bit serious tho, one time it was an ear-splitting low-end feedback buzz that almost deafened me - the other time there was next to zero sound in an entire multiplayer match]

Other than that I have been thoroughly enjoying myself!

Re: KORG Gadget is Coming to the Switch in Spring 2018

Best news I've heard in a long time!

Most people probably don't know, but Korg recently partnered with Namco Bandai to make the Kamata, a WAVETABLE synth - a retro arcade themed gadget which you can purchase if you own Korg gadget. It's a game combined with a chip-tunes DAW

CHECK It out:

I Just started making a lot more electronic music on the iPad pro, so hopefully I'll be a lot better by the time this app comes out🙃

Love me some Korg goodies, used to play the microkorg all the time growing up and have several synthesizer apps.

I honestly think the switch has the potential to be one of the best electronic music making kits ever, because of the joycons. So much control.
