Re: Turn-Based Strategy Game Civilization VI Is Headed To Switch This November

uhhhhhhhh

I have this on my iPad Pro 12.9 in screen .. as much as I’d like to support this on day one for the switch I’m going to have to wait for the reviews as I bought this full price last year AND JUST BOUGHT ALL THE DLC YESTERDAY LOL

It performs amazingly well on my iPad tho, and idk if I’d wanna sacrifice my huge touch screen. I’ve gotten possibly hundreds of hours of play tho. I don’t think the iPad keeps track of playtime haha

Re: The World Ends With You: Final Remix Won't Support The Switch Pro Controller

uhhhhhhhh

Big whoop. I never played it and I’m looking forward to it, as I’ve never got around to playing the DS version. Handheld mode, joycon, whatever, as long as it works smoothly....

....we’ve come along way since the Wii waggle days.....they’ve really figured out how to make motion controls a lotmore fluid and intuitive in the past 10+ years. Sounds like it would suck to use a pro controller based off the core mechanics I’ve seen, anyhow

Re: Super Mario Party On Switch Won't Include Pro Controller Support

uhhhhhhhh

If you wa’tch the newer highlight reels you can see some of the mini games, for example one of them they’re using the joycon motion controls to pan fry steak cubes. Another one they’re pedaling something with their hands - there’s gonna be a lot of motion control mini games here.i dont think that excluding pro controller support is limiting or confusing - they’re doing it to PREVENT confusion and limitations. Honestly I don’t care that much though, unless it surprises me with rave reviews I’ll probably be skipping this one. Or maybe I’ll get a few copies for my kids ....🤷‍♂️

Re: Review: Morphies Law (Switch eShop)

Definitely enjoying this, however I could really appreciate more than 3 maps and 3 modes. Some type of more "competitive" ranked mode would be cool

Also lots of little funky bugs, like the sound being all messed up at times.

More weapons I could appreciate as well

Hahaha I sound hypercritical but really I do love it, that's why I have all these suggestions:)

Re: Four Brand New Weapons Will Soon Be Spicing Things Up In Splatoon 2

Via google translat, although I think some of these are wrong or I’m interpreting them wrong lol. Also some of the Japanese translations are cool, like the Brella says ‘undercover gadget’ lol

Brella: sub - splat bomb, special - baller
Carbon roller: sub - splat bomb, special - autobomb bomb rush (debut)
Rapid blaster: sub - splash shield, special - ink armor
Duallie squelchers: sub - splat bomb, but idk what the special is, here’s what google said: “Honor students who are hiding in the topography by the special "Ameharushi" also dragged.“
Edit: maybe they mean the stingray?

Re: Review: Yoku's Island Express (Switch eShop)

This is getting good reviews all around and I absolutely love pinball mashups. Games like Sonic spinball, Kirby pinball, Metroid pinball, Pokémon/Mario pinball, etc. even the siesta fiesta on the 3DS (which is a breakout game I know, but similar genre)

this sounds like a very satisfactory release in lieu of a new 1st party pinball game, I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised by this release!

Re: Review: Runner3 (Switch)

uhhhhhhhh

Bit trip saga on 3ds was the best. The 3D effect when all the chaos ensued was one of my favorite moments in gaming history lol

I will still get this, but I hope they at least make sequels for some of the other games in the bit trip franchise sometime

Re: Review: KORG Gadget (Switch eShop)

uhhhhhhhh

This doesn’t even have effects - not to mention the midi / export issues. I have gadget on iOS with all of the IAP’s and love it. The real version of gadget has assignable effects you can put on each track and even automations to affect them more. I can’t imagine making something without at least some EQ and compression, or playing with filter automation. I will get his eventually, to incorporate a strange theremin-like gimmick to add to my live music show, since this does have motion controls - which looks very cool

Re: KORG Gadget Releases Worldwide Next Week On The Switch eShop

uhhhhhhhh

While this has substantially less content than the iOS version for 39.99, it does have multiplayer and motion controls which the iOS does not have. And yes, the desktop version is 299.99 so this isn’t all that bad. The Kamata gadget is an in-app-purchase on iOS for 14.99 so t4chnicslly the 48 bucks is t a bad deal
