As usual, the most popular games are the most recent (Smash Bros. Wii U & Pokemon). I haven't gotten around to playing those, so I couldn't vote.

You make this game sound better than you make Pier Solar sound.

I've only heard of like 3 of those games.

9/10 is a bit high, if you ask me.

Hardcore Gaming 101 said, "even back in the 16-bit era, it probably would have been considered a B-tier RPG, closer to the likes of Lufia and the Fortress of Doom or the first Breath of Fire rather than Final Fantasy VI or Phantasy Star IV, except for its really pretty presentation." Nintendolife gave Chrono Trigger a 9 and a 10. Phantasy Star IV, Dragon Quest VI, and Final Fantasy VI all got 9. Even taking the multiple reviewers into account, Pier Solar's lower score seems quite justified.

After the gratuitous hype I've seen from Nintendolife, it's almost upsetting to see this get a barely above average score.

An announcement like this would never satisfy me without any details.

@CanisWolfred Really? I thought the PSP game would be more similar to Ghosts and Goblins. Not that I've played either. I'll be buying Demon's Crest before long.

I found out that Super Ghouls and Ghosts has a GBA remake. Hopefully we get that next.

This must be a polarizing series for the French game to score so much higher than the English one.

@C-Olimar I'll bet reviews were mixed because nobody knew what kind of game it would be and went in with the wrong expectations.

I'm going to be upset if I have to pay extra for the Onion Gear.

Next time you can mention Jenny LeClue. It would be great to have that game on WiiU, though hitting the goal is unlikely.

Oh that's great. I hope it's better than the 1st remake, but I think I'll buy it even if it's not.

I'm surprised we got another of these games. I'm even more surprised it took so long to review.

I'm glad Nintendo is not afraid to put ports and remake on the Virtual Console. Some will prefer Adventure because it's the original, while others will prefer this for the better graphics. It really is the best solution. Even better would be a notice indicating that these are essentially the same game. I doubt such a thing exists, and I unfortunately expect a lot of disappointment from those who will buy both Adventure and Nightmare.

Even with improvements over the iOS version, twice the price seems a bit much.

@Hero_of_Time I checked a Zelda wiki and compared the masks, and I could only identify the giant's mask through elimination. The resemblance is lost upon me.

I can't for the life of me figure out which mask the black hexagon is.
