@Migoshuro if I'm honest, at this stage, I'd be happy with the 64 and GC versions being available on the eShop.
Such a shame that Nintendo won't release new entries for these games (also 1080), they are good filler games that I think wouldn't require a big budget and team to develop it.
Oh well....

I still prefer the classic Direct presentations. It gives some information about what's to come and can create a hype that doesn't happen with the odd format from last year.
But for that you need games to show and if we follow the same path from last year then there's no point for a presentation.

I have no clue about games development but from the gameplay of Desperados, it really makes me wonder why the Switch is not powerful enough to run it.
The game doesn't seem to be very demanding and there are many similar games already available so I don't know what the issue is here.

Shame they cancelled the physical version of DOOM 😕
It was on my 'day one' list and now it's on hold until it gets discounted.

For me it will be a mix of Samurai Shodown, Mario Galaxy and Monster Hunter.

@stinkyx there is an online mode but I haven't tried it yet and don't know if you need a Nintendo subscription to use it.

I wish Capcom would give us an X-men/Marvel vs Capcom collection. Specially the first games that were really great.

That's fantastic, I've never had the opportunity to play MH games so this demo will certainly give me a better chance to get a feeling about the game.

@Wargoose had that KOF but never played due to lack of time.
I'm hoping the new one will be on the Switch.
I've been playing the new Samurai Shodown and it's great in handheld mode.

@Zanzox I didn't check the time history but the generic SNK phase might be linked to the time they were having a hard time in terms of business.
My guess would be that they didn't have the $$$ to produce better quality games.
If you played other IPs from them you will notice that the quality declined across the board and not only with KOF.
But, again, I didn't check the time line so don't know for sure.

@Zanzox I don't know, what I feel is like after 99 things started to go a bit down hill.
The most striking thing for me is the soundtrack, up to 99 KOF always had amazing tracks.
Best ones in my opinion are from 95 and 96 (which I still listen!) then, from 2000s everything turned into generic: music tracks, backgrounds, graphics etc.
It didn't have the same care as previous entries if you know what I mean?

Do you remember when we had this graphics for Nintendo and Big Developers games??

The last new entry I played was ages ago.
My favourite is still KOF 98. Great game!

Slimmer bezels, newer tegra chip set, 1080p display and better battery life would do the trick just fine.

I loved the Bioshock collection but they could have added gyro support.
Dark Souls is a great port of an amazing game.
Wish they'd get the greenlight to port the other Soul games.

Apart from Animal Crossing - which is not my kind of game but I can see its appeal - , there was nothing else really special from Nintendo this year.
In my view, it was the worst year for Switch players in terms of first part games.

It reminds me of the "It's a Small World" ride.
Slow, relaxing music and you just enjoy the views.
Perfect for kids.

The merchandise looks really cool.
The Bowser and Toads head are my favourites so far.

@Danrenfroe2016 from the cars that I've unlocked so far I think each has a different handling.
Some are heavier than others to drive and I honestly cannot say that it's too different from what I felt when playing Burnout.
Each car there has a different handling too.

For me it will be Need for Speed and Samurai Shodown.

On a side note, what happened with the new Metal Slug?
From what I remember it was supposed to be released by the end of the year.

It doesn't make sense. Something must have happened with their production line to force them to cancel it.
Hopefully it will, eventually, get a physical copy. Until then, it is no longer a day one purchase for me I'm afraid.

@Mr_Humpf normally I keep an eye on Amazon websites to check if they have any games with discounts but, this time, I forgot Amazon IT.
Last deal I found was a 26€ burnout on Amazon DE right after the release.

I just wish we would get Split Second remaster. That game was so fun!

I'd pay the same price as the ps5 or Xbox to have a real Pro version of the Switch.
Doesn't need to be a 4k device but it does need more power to run all types of games.

This game was really good. I remember spending many hours trying to find those souls.
I'll certainly get the remaster if the reviews are good.
However, it would be much better to have a remake in my opinion.
This game deserves to be updated.

It hurts to see the Mario Party game there.
It had so much potential for expansion and it has been completely neglected by Nintendo.

I'd be happy to purchase on time limited bases. Sort of renting it.
To 'buy' it at full cost and not owning the game is a no go for me.

Cloud gaming for me would only work in some sort of 'rental' type of purchase.
So, you don't charge a full price and offer a limited time for the game to be available (ie. 10€ for one week rental, after that the game is locked again).
That, in my view, would make this service more acceptable.

I think he's completely wrong.
I remember that there was a research from Nintendo showing how the gamers were using their Switch and the pie graph was pretty much 50/50.
I am on the camp that uses it both ways and to think that Nintendo should ignore the hybrid concept is ludicrous.

Depressing that, apart from MK11, we only get LEGO games from Warner Bros.
It would be so nice to have the Batman collection for instance!
