If raytracing is affecting a stable 60 fps I say leave it out..

Would be nice if they weren't so lazy and patch all of their first party games...

Those games have been out forever. I'd assume no one is trying to pay full price again for old games just to play it handheld.

I at least try to Gold rank it first then chase the 3 stars from the other cups. The more I replay the cups the more I'm starting to like the game. Not a fan of the wide straight away area on some of the tracks. But anyways, enjoy!

@BlaizeV racing feels so damn slow to me. MK8 right now is the perfect MK game to date.

This is probably one of the worst Mario Karts in forever. There is no thrill or excitement when racing, the tracks are too wide which makes drifting boring, and some tracks are so short all of sudden you're on the last lap. No one should dare spend $80 on this game. Game looks fantastic but there is no sense of speed in this racing game. Is it me or does 150cc feel like 100cc? I'm having an okay time trying to gold everything but man what a disappointment so far.

I still have my Pro controllers from last gen. So I hope not being able to use the sleep button isn't too annoying. I was thinking about a carrying case but I don't see myself bringing it out to often these days.

A video for this type of game in this generation shouldn't even be needed...

@construx Nvidia likes to hype up their GPU like they did for their 5 series which clearly isn't living up to their hype. It's obviously powerful but 10x is a stretch.

They should just do away with raytracing for this system to opt for more frames for some games or at least make it an option for in-game settings

@NFrealinkling for a physical it's going to be at least $85 with tax which is pretty much $90... You actually defending Nintendo upping their game price says it all. We all know damn well whatever Rockstar puts out is worth way more than what Nintendo puts in their games.

I wish they'd do sword and shield and older games... Always with the laziness with Nintendo.

Steam Deck owners save tremendously on games though. Anyone who has a PC knows the awesome sales throughout the year especially towards the end of the year.

What a horrible gaming experience to go to the store, get home, and wait 1hr+ to download and install a game. Almost making it almost pointless to buy the 'physical'.

@sanderev and yet Nintendo gave US plentiful 256GB to future proof their system... They really couldn't try and give us 500gb?

This makes the Switch a freaking horrible console for 3rd parties. Good thing I'm making this my Nintendo exclusive console because even the extra micro SD card is not enough if you're planning to buy 4 future 3rd party games on top of transferring from the OG Switch.

I folded and got one for pre-order even after talking smack about it... I couldn't help but join the hype. I hope it doesn't let me down.

Still dips below 60 fps? I'm glad the preorders got delays so others can drive deeper into it. For now, I'm going to pass on this. I'm not dying to play anything Nintendo has to offer at launch window.

I wish they didn't get lazy and have each character have their own special relating to them like in Double Dash. New skins are cool but that's all they are, skins.

Seems like a forced feature. That kind of quality would be acceptable 10 years ago but today's? It's embarrassing to say the least.

I'm fairly happy to hear that. Anything above $10 would raise my eyebrows. Many of the below 60fps games should be free anyways because it's quite unacceptable.

These new boxes look horrible. And to ask for money for some upgrades is a ripoff.

Even Sony had free upgrades at first... For graphically better games..

@TerribleTerabytes another hardcore Nintendo fan pleased with anything they put out even when the new stuff has been out forever. I'm starting to put them in the Disney fan category because they'll give 10/10 for a box a sh*t in it.

Game looks like azz to me. To not make it from the Switch 2 ground up is a huge miss. It looks like a GameCube game and the blaster effects look so basic imo.

@Pod I don't get the hype for that either. So people need to have a flat surface in front of them to use that feature? Usually these cool features are only implemented in like 2-3 games then it's ditched completely.

Not too exciting imo. It's just more black with a bigger screen. And the Mario Kart game looks a tad cleaner than 8 but nothing amazing. Sucks we have to wait a few months for real specs and features. I'll be more excited if they announce that it's OLED.

Feels like a Switch Pro rather than a new console imo. They changed the joycons to magnetic so people can just buy new controllers and not use the other ones? Kinda greedy seeing that it's just a console sequel and not so new console.

If Zelda is going to come out soon what's left for the next gen Nintendo console? A Mario? The next Metroid game? What else? I'm pretty much over with the Switchs hardware and it's last gen feel regarding some games not running 60fps. For years and years I've wanted my Nintendo games look like real next gen games.

Well they didn't freaking open in the first place in the original. Maybe he should have fixed that before releasing it then.

@Primarina it's a huge difference... Almost night and day. Come on now. People that can't tell the difference never played a 60 fps game before because you can feel it while your playing.

Don't act surprised now. Nintendo diehards are perfectly fine with mediocre 30 fps.

Fire emblem was the only thing that was cool to see because I wasn't expecting that. Everything was like...Pikmin 4 announcement, Zelda release date with nothing exciting to see, too many farm sims, we already knew about Rabbids, and everything else were nice sprinkles on top of an average Direct that we've wait forever for..Nintendo really trying to milk this Switch run for as long as it can before it needs to switch over to a new console build.

People are that soft they don't want to battle Pokemon to catch them anymore? I swear the new generation like to ruin everything. When I watched Pokemon on TV, they always battle to catch a Pokemon and not throw 20 stupid pokeballs consecutively to do it. Get over it you dumb cancel culture crybabies.

Knowing they are focusing on mobile rather than the console fans is a slap in the face. I'm really tired of how they handle their games. Most of their games have minor improvements and know fans will grab it because of the name behind it. They can care less about the fans.

All just to remaster Wii U games and think of mobile games.

Honestly I always liked the random Pokemon grass encounters. I thought it made it more exciting who you'll try to capture.

The 3D aspect of the 3DS was underated imo. I know some people didn't like it because they got headaches but for me, the 3D feature was so awesome in some games. The fact you didn't need glasses was amazing.
