I'm shocked they're still trying with this game. It's the best tennis game there will ever be but now that Nintendo's better franchises are on the system Mario tennis seems like it should be an afterthought.
That's all indie devs have to do. Just take Nintendo properties from 25 years ago and make them... But don't dare take from a game currently sold in stores.
$300 seems a bit much unless those are massive statues. Maybe they hope to get Johnny's first college job money buying everything he couldn't have as a kid.
Wow this looks fugly. I get that week games have taken on special arcade moves but the art style is a step down. Maybe this is what they need to get the game to run on all platforms but it doesn't make me want to play.
World maker feels a lot better because people wanted to make it. Playing these has been bad. Difficulty spikes with no way around it. People that make 40 levels of hastily made maps like obvious 15 minutes basics with no challenge or secrets.
Rewarding the end of a super world ensures I only play the short super worlds. Sometimes the super world gets removed before I'm done. That's a waste.
I'm sorry but how does Nintendo ever expect to stay in business when they give us weak updates like this that neglect Charging Chuck? Super Mario World was somehow 30 years ago and you still can't manage to add these classic enemies beloved by millions?
I'm discovering once you've seen worlds, you've seen them. Several people have made worlds with 1 - 5 levels in them. You also risk beating the world only to have a connection issue and the world is literally gone.
You also risk playing some garbage worlds or bad levels in a bag of fair to good levels. It's an uneven experience. Lives are meaningless. Plenty of levels I've discovered have stupid amount of celebration lives and coins that work fine in random playing, but in a world, you can quickly get 99 lives.
Some of the larger worlds feel like someone speed mapped them like Mario Bros 1 where it's just 100% horizontal devoid of any challenge, just to add in the new elements and bosses.
The third season was great. Maybe people just like men being subservient to women. Walking them on leashes. Calling them servant. Having a lesbian vampire cult. The final ep was packed with anime sex.
They're too busy selling their games at full price. They also make 30% on game sales and other flat fees to publish. Oh and what is switch online then?
@IronMan30 They did kind of hide Ring Fit under the radar between a Zelda and Luigi's Mansion 3. Ring Fit also didn't seem too tied into the Nintendo brand like a lot of other games.
But you see... the franchise is so old that these dumb children grow up and buy every iteration of the game and parents buy the game for their kids because they know the brand. It's the same thing that keeps McDonnalds and pro wrestling going. Hook em when they're young.
Cool he's still making SNES games, I just wish it was more than a game jam game. Chances are it will appear in one of those 999,999 games on 1 cartridge.
@Ventilator a lot of the nes style compilations have y and b as the controls. I was hoping to make y to b and b to a. Maybe get the top nes buttons to act like others too for the Castlevania collections that use a and b but another button to get to the menu. Kind of hurts that NES style collections didn't add support for the nes controller
You mean they weren't already working remotely anyway? They get thousands of dollars from most games to watch footage and not even play the games to confirm. It's a private company without any power.
The most controversial thing about the game is how they didn't want to pay unreal + epic their 5% so they had it pulled from steam. Or just fakes the takedown for more publicity.
