May is good, and actually sooner than I thought we would get it...I expected mid-late summer. I feel like with DK Tropical Freeze and a few DS titles coming out, I am set on waiting a few more months, we all know the wait will be worth it!

I was one of those people unsure about the gamepad, but I find more and more I am loving it. I even use it more times than not with games that let you have different options (Wind Waker, for example) because I like having all my items/maps, etc. right there in front of me at all times. I am getting so tired of so much Nintendo news just freaking out over them losing money, maybe making poor business decisions. I think they are having a rough patch right now, but it will smooth out when AAA titles like Smash Bros and Mario Kart come out.

SLOW week...Now that Project X Zone is only $20, I may pick that up...

2014 looks like its off to a great start. In the coming months I have my mind set on picking up Yoshi's New Island, DK: Tropical Freeze, and Kirby Triple Deluxe. After that AAA titles like Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros (Maybe both versions, for good measure) will be next on my list!

That is pretty cute, love the art style, but $50 is simply just too much. If it was $20-$30, i'd bite.

Good to see they are at least getting somewhere. Sure it is a minor annoyance, since I have an eshop card coming in today, but I have plenty to play. Got WW HD and Asassins Creed IV for Christmas, on top of all the games I bought recently, so just hope Nintendo sorts it out sooner rather than later.

I have some eshop points coming in (from BestBuy.com/ $20 for $16 deal), and I want to get NES remix, so I hope these problems are sorted out soon.

Nothing for me from that list, but I will be picking up NES Remix this weekend. We still have a little time left in the year (what 2 weeks?) so perhaps we will still see SMB3 before 2014 arrives. I doubt we will get Link to the Past anytime soon, so I'll just stop holding my breath and enjoy Link Between Worlds.

Great review. I have $5 in my eShop wallet, so I think I will add another $10 and try this puppy out. As a gamer who grew up on the NES and SNES this looks down my alley. Just have to be patient and wait for Sunday when I get home from the in-laws.

Glad to see we are starting to get Wii U additions, just stinks it's an extra 50 coins (for an NES game, especially). Nothing for me this week, so I will hope January brings something good.

I always thought Cranky was funny, so I would welcome him as a playable character. I feel like he is probably just a supporting character or maybe a bigger part of the story, just not playable, hopefully we find out soon!

My fiance and I are still plugging away at Super Mario 3D World, and I am also playing some Pikmin 3, kind of forgot about it with the past couple months of great games, but I am glad to be playing it again!

Really excited for this game, probably going to pre-order it. I know a lot of people said it didn't look that great when we first saw footage of the game, but I think it looks fine. I love the texture of DK's fur in that screenshot.

This game is going to suck up so much of my free time. I knew the reviews would be good, but man it seems to be 9-10's across the board! This is just what the Wii U needed to show people Nintendo can take care of its fans and make an experience that's fun for everybody. Can't wait for my copy to arrive Friday!

This is extremely surprising to hear. I went through the entire story mode without a lot of trouble. I think once the screen froze on a black screen when I booted it up, and another time the frame rate dropped a bit. After I completed the game, I know one night I had issues with the framerate dropping so bad, it literally looked like it had frozen. On reddit, I remember reading that a lot of people said Wii U played better than the 360/PS3, I don't remember hearing about corrupt saves and things like that. Anyways, I am a Batman fan, so technical issues a side, I am still glad I picked this up.

For Batman fans, the story alone makes this game worth a purchase. While I agree technically it is quite flawed, and Gotham is rather boring to glide around in, they really knocked it out of the park with some of the stuff going on in the plot (namely with the Joker.)

I could care less about the console wars. I feel if you have fun playing, who cares how much it is selling? Of course the investors and people at Nintendo care, we don't want them to have a failure, obviously. However, I think the Wii U is far from a failure, it's still finding its footing. 2014 will be a big year for the system, and I for one am happy to own a Wii U, and while im finishing college over the next 2-3 years, it will probably be the only console I have (other than my 3DS XL). After college maybe i'll spring for a PS4 if it's dropped to $300 or lower.

Excluding Turtles in Time, I can't really think of a great Turtles game, sadly. I am a big fan of the old show, Turtles in Time, and the movies, but can't really get into the new show, maybe I should give it another shot. This is a pretty typical score, I remember the last TMNT game I played was that Smash Bros. clone on the Wii, it was so "blah."

This is a nice update! I want to try out the Sonic Lost World demo for sure. As far as buying something, I MAY get Legend of Zelda: Links Awakening DX. I want to own and play through all the zelda games, I just sadly don't have a lot of money now to buy all 3.

I may have to get this, for $10, that sounds like a steal. With games and films I HATE digital, but with music, it doesn't bother me as much. Seeing as I have an iPhone it's kind of nice to just use the icloud and get my music.

I am only an hour and a half from Orlando, so I may check out the Florida Mall. Funny enough, just yesterday my fiance and I were talking about how we haven't gone to some of the big Orlando malls in a long time, and that before Christmas we should go walk around them. Perfect timing, Nintendo!

I want LttP really bad, but I don't have a classic controller right now, so that would be some more money id have to spend. Guess I will just wait for it to hit the Wii U, since Wii VC games have no Pro Controller support.

Picked up Batman: Arkham Origins and loving that. It's the first time I have been posting a lot on the Miiverse as well. Sadly I have 3 exams due this weekend (Microeconomics and Financial Accounting), so I won't be putting too much time into the game, but anybody on the fence about it should pick it up, WB Games did a good job.

Pokemon X! Picking it up tomorrow morning, and have the entire day off. Probably going to play some Skyward Sword as well, since I am getting fairly close to the end. I told myself I can't buy Wind Waker HD until I finish SS!

Nothing for me this week, since I am getting Pokemon X physically on Saturday.

Even though off-screen footage doesn't do the look of the game justice, it does seem to have really beautiful graphics. I love the textures and the lighting, so I can't wait to see all the tracks.

Hm, I don't play enough with the gamepad now to really warrant buying this. However, in the coming years I am sure it will come in handy, so if it's released in the US, I may buy it. I feel like this is something they should just give to consumers though, who already own a Wii U. Remember the Wii Remote grips? They just gave them to you if you already had the Wii. With this, I feel we shouldn't have to pay an extra charge when they should of put a higher capacity battery in to begin with. Oh well, glad it's out there at least.

I was going to wait for this Ultimate Edition, seeing as how much DLC there was in the game, but now it's kind of nice I don't have to. In fact, I may just skip the original release as well, since I don't hear the best things about it anyways, except from DC fanboys. After reading what CaPPa said about the Wii U version not getting all the DLC, I think it shows the Nintendo release was kind of just thrown together, so no big loss if I don't pick it up.

Same here. I just posted in the thread about this, but it seems like a good idea to have one of each type, so seems like the logical choice for me. It works out great, because out of the Kalos starters I actually like Chespin the most, and Squirtle has always been my favorite (because Blastoise is awesome!) Pokemon Blue was my first Pokemon game ever, so I have a special place in my heart for Blastoise.

This is good news. I loved using him in Brawl, so he may be my go-to-guy for the new game. I really hope Mega Man is good, as well.

I have yet to beat the story mode, but at $2, you can't go wrong for a quality game like this.

I was looking forward to getting SMB3, but oh well I am sure it will come soon. I have other stuff to keep me busy until it releases.

I have a Wii U and 3DS, so I will pick up the physical Wii U version when I get around to it.

This is a great review. It's $16.99 on Amazon now, so I may pick it up soon. I read on one review on Youtube (in the comments section) that the game got down to $10 on Amazon! Stinks I missed out on that deal, but $17 seems well worth it!

Mutant Mudds looks interesting, especially at a cheaper price point. I have enough to play for now though, so I will probably pass. Need to pick up Zelda and Zelda II sometime.

This is really interesting, i'd check it out for sure when it comes to the States. For anybody into the Monster Hunter series, is Monster Hunter 3 a good game for a new comer? I have always wanted to check out the series, but never got around to it. I was thinking of picking up MH3 eventually (probably wouldn't be until early next year), but was curious if it's a bad place to start if it is the first entry I am trying out. Also, which version is better Wii U or 3DS?

Looking forward to this! Want to focus on finishing Shantae (GBC) until this comes out. This will probably be my next eShop purchase.

I hope so! It would be great to link our Nintendo Network ID's. I am excited for this, hopefully soon isn't just code for "sometime before 2014". I would love to see this in the next month or so.

Seems steep for an older title. Also seeing as Sonic Lost World will only be $10 more. Dreamcaster-X is right, the price of the much better (from what I have heard) console version is extremely low. I bought Generations on my 360, day one, and it was worth the $50, so finding that version at about $20 is a steal.

I should of got Mario Golf last month! Oh well, yeah nothing for me this month. Pilotwings is tempting, but I don't really want Wii versions of the games, since I have a Wii U and no classic controller.

I would love to see both a Wii U and 3DS version of the game! Can't wait to play this in 2015!

Already have MSF2 on my 3DS, and love it. I will be passing on picking this Wii U version up, but maybe when MSF3 comes out, I will hold out long enough.

Just started playing Skyward Sword (my first playthrough since I didn't have it on the Wii, but can now play it on my Wii U) I'm liking it, especially the colorful look of it (not quite as beautiful as Wind Waker, though.) I literally just got it in the mail yesterday, so I am only at the first dungeon in Faron Woods.

Aside from that, my goal over labor day is to beat New Super Mario Bros. U. I am at the final world, so it won't take long to defeat, just have to pry myself away from homework and Zelda long enough to beat it.

I have been on Kickstarter a quite a few times, but haven't backed anything. I think this is the first thing I wanna back, because I truly think this could be a great game. I will probably drop $20, since you get a digital version of the game, hopefully we get to pick which platform, if its on multiple.

When I had an Ambassador 3DS, I played this a bit, after years of never playing it. Zelda is one of my favorite series, so I am a bit dissapointed in myself for never completing Zelda 1 or 2, so I will make a point to play and beat them both this generation.
