Re: Review: Space Trek (WiiWare)

suburban_sensei

I can't believe how bad the visuals are in the game. I mean, I love retro games, so I usually choose gameplay over graphics. However, I think the developers must have been VERY lazy to shove out something like that, when we have seen games as beautiful as Jett Rocket on WiiWare.

Re: Review: Sonic Classic Collection (DS)

I saw the price of this has gone down to $20, I wonder if it's worth getting now that it's a bit cheaper. I am a huge Sonic fan, but I already own Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection on PS3, which has all 4 Sonic games. However, playing them portably sounds great...just flawed in this case.

Re: Jett Rocket Sequel May Already be Firing Up its Boosters

Since I am really enjoying the game, I can't wait for the sequel. If there were at least 3 episodes, with 3 zones each, I would be pretty happy with that. Regarding the questions of people beating short games in no time...Well, I am one of those people that plays a bit of each game in little bits. I have lots of backlogged games, so I like to play one game for an hour, then another for another hour, I get burnt out on games if I play for like 3 hours in a row, really.

@gaminguy: I say get it, because it really is worth the 1,000 points. It is a very solid 8, so I could not agree more with this review. Sure it isn't the longest game in the world, but completing it 100% will be a fun way to eat up 5 or so hours.

Re: Nintendo to Show Off Other M and Dragon Quest IX at San Diego Comic-Con

Comic-Con would be interesting. I have interest in a few comics, but I am by no means, some die hard fan. I am going to Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando, FL (just an hour away!) in August, and I am kinda nervous because it is my first convention, period. Sucks I won't be playing M: OM there Luckily, just a few weeks after I will have my hands on my very own copy!

Re: Review: Mario Tennis (Virtual Console / Nintendo 64)

suburban_sensei

I was stuck on either buy the NPC Mario Power Tennis (Which I have never played) or going with Mario Tennis (N64) (which I have played MANY times as a kid). I think that this review has really pushed me more towards the original. It will not only give me lots of great nostalgia, but like you said in the conclusion, it's a pure tennis experience without unnecessary gameplay elements.

Darn it, Jonathon...why did you have to go and give this game a good review! I have like 2 or 3 other Wii Ware games I need to pick up...and now THIS! All joking aside, great review, and the game looks like it will be fun, i'll make sure to download it before Summer's end.

Re: And Here's Your 2010 Club Nintendo Awards, North America

@gameking23: I believe that you are late, because June 30th is the final day to reach Platinum. I see that you posted your comment on July 1st.

@Pegasus: Yeah, when I read the confirmation e-mail and it said I should receive it by the end of December I was just thinking..."Wow...what a wait!" heh.

I am with many on here that well sure, I could be angry that its a pretty "meh" week and that yet again there are no VC titles. However, I've begun to just not care lol, saves me money. At the same time, I really miss the excitement I got every Monday when I logged onto the site (when it was just VCreviews.com) and we were getting 3 solid titles a week...I wanna feel that again.
