@FragRed I haven't actually played Fast RMX, I've been interested in it for a while, but I can't quite justify £20 for single player, considering it seems the online is a dead. But it does deffo look good
Same as @FragRed, not a fan of the art style here. I feel like anyone interested in this would just get Fast Rmx instead, but good on them for trying something
"Version 11.4.0 (for that is its name) could be a typical stability update that fixes bugs and ensures things are running smoothly – or it could offer stuff like folders, new themes, world peace and a cure for all known diseases."
Don't be so utterly RIDICULOUS asking for the impossible, stuff that scientifically could never happen on swithch. of course we're never gonna get folders.
I am one of the new fans who came in with BotW. I've tried OoT 3D since, but I found it kinda uncomfortable on my original model from launch, and a small amount of ALTTP on NSO, but apart from that I'll be going into SS blind. I'm fortune to not expect BOTW0.5 tho
So what is it with the resurrection of Miis? Happy as I am to see this, if Mii Maker remains in the settings, no one will use it. Revamp it, chuck it next to NSO/settings button on the home screen, chuck some fancy music and a plaza, and you got yourself a great little app
@ShadJV I've never really looked into it myself, but it's really amazing how there are such grand stories and inter-links between different parts of the mythologies, and especially how a lot of it is still around today.
@darkswabber the idea of an Orange Box-type thing on consoles is an interesting one, especially seeing how Valve said recently the company wanted to start making games again after HL Alyx (can't recall where I saw that though). Nice as it would be, especially for me with a laptop that had noticeable lag in Jackbox, to have these on Switch or other consoles, I can't see it happening based on how much they put into Steam. Or if they did, I can imagine it being very over-priced
Never heard of this until now. Not much of a co-op guy myself, (more of a Tesco fan), but it does look kinda cool from flicking through the trailer. There aren't enough 3D platformers, so nice to see this existing
I'm gonna try it out, but not living with anyone who plays games, I'm not expecting any good experience from it solo, which is a shame, given how much praise this game gets
Recently picked up Ori and the Will of the Wisps from amazon for £20, so gonna make my way through that, if I can get past this linear algebra coursework.
Animal Crossing is a fine game, but game of the year? I'm not sure it's quite that good, it doesn't really... do anything special. Of course, I would be remissed not to mention how its certainly helped people mentally, but surely that argument can be applied to any game? Maybe I'm missing something - not looking to start a fight, just unsure what qualifies it as GOTY
Call me an idiot but I'll bite - what's the difference between what's being condemned here, and the region-locking of the Wii U and other consoles? Would that be condemned in the same way as these companies, or is it something completely different and I'm stupid?
Maybe I've misunderstood something, but I looked at the price on the eshop after playing the demo. Looked to me like the standard edition is £52. The STANDARD edition. That's more expensive than all of the big Nintendo releases (bar Smash Ultimate and Botw) and that's the standard one. I would've considered it if it was in the £30-£40 range (Control cost that right?) but over £50 for a cloud version and the problems that come with it? Nah, I'll pass.
@Dman10 the Wii U version did have a lot of Gamepad integration, so that likely is a difference. I also don't believe that version has the multiplayer? If it does I'm not sure how it'd work
I'm surprised to not see ZombiU on here, or mentioned in comments. I can't comment on if the campaign was stand-out or not, since I haven't played any horror games before or since (besides Luigi's Mansion), but I definitely enjoyed it. It's stand-out was definitely the multiplayer though; I didn't get as much time with is as I'd like due to the multiplayer prerequisite of human contact, but the time I did have was amazing
@Grandiajet it looks fantastic, but considering no one else in my home plays games, some of which struggle with Wii Bowling, I'm never gonna get a chance to try it out. I definitely feel I have my money's worth of content without that anyway
The hardest, most tense bit of ac is the controls, especially for building terrain. Its so hard to tell where you're going to place the cliff, and I always end up destroying rivers I wanted to expand. This would be so much better if there was a cursor to indicate the square you're aiming at, even if it was optional
I only got a Switch this year, and went digital on basically everything - Splatoon, Mario Odyssey, Mario Maker, Animal Crossing, and Breath of the Wild (even tho I played it on Wii U). I've now got a little space to show off games tho, and, in combination with dwindling sd card space, I'll probably go physical in future
They can't stop yet! I want a Dual Squelcher with a Disruptor, and maybe Kraken or Inkstrike; a Splash-o-matic with Seeker or Beacons and Bubbler; a 52 with Beacons and Zooka, a Carbon with Disruptor and Bubbler; a Jet Squelcher with Sprinkler and Echo, an Octobrush with Disrutpor and Echo; a 96 with Point Sensor and Wail; a Hydra with Beacons and Kraken; a Tri-Slosher with Suction and Kraken; a Sloshing Machine with a Wall and Echo; a Rapid Blaster with Sprinkler and Kraken; a Rapid Pro with Wall and Echo; a Blaster with Suction and Zooka; a Luna with Beacon and Bubble; and if we've got that, we might as well have a JR with Sprinkler and Zooka, and an E litre with Ink mines and Inkstrike. Any weapon ive missed off?
@alex167 a Toybox Trislosher with Suction Bomb and Kraken, a Vanilla Sloshing Machine with Splash Wall and Inkzooka, a Macro Splash-o-Matic with Seeker and Bubbler, an Allotrope Carbon Roller with Splat Bomb and Bubbler, an Entropy Blaster with Suction Bomb and Inkzooka, an Orbital Luna Blaster with Seeker and Inkstrike, a Closed .96 Gal with Squid Beakon and Inkstrike, the Reciprocal Dual Squelcher with Burst Bombs and Bubbler... those are my hopes for a vol. 3 if there is one...
What happened to the minigame easter egg in Ancho-V Games? It would be good if these amiibo acted like the previous ones, but gave you a blaster, slosher, or splatling. That would be fresh. Looking forward to my Hero Splatling and Slosher Replicas!

Entropy Blaster - Suction bomb, Inkzooker
Orbital Luna Blaster - Seeker, Inkstrike

Allotrope Carbon Roller - Splat bomb, Bubbler.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
