Will the arenas be the same as before? They should show off arowana and blackbelly - my favourites! Then again, I have the full game, so doesn't concern me!

I remember designing my own mario levels in non-lined notebooks. The problem is, the one with the most levels in, I threw out! Oh dear. Whilst I still have one or two, most of my inspiration for mario maker is in a Word document, with titles and brief descriptions of levels I want to make. Look out for the level "Rogue Plumbing" in your course worlds!

Imagine an Octoling, wearing an Octoling Scope, Octoling Armour and Octoling Boots, with an Octoshot! How awesome!

Urchin Underpass changes? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I love that map, and still remains my favourite alongside Camp Triggerfish. I don't see why it needs changing. Ahhhhh......

Whilst my Team Pop lost, I emerged victorious on Team Eat. My tactics are to wait a couple of days, and see which side has the most propaganda in Miiverse. Worked for me this time!

I normally chuck a Point Sensor or Splat Bomb over the top of the tower before I get on it. Point sensors are really good when riding the tower, to check who's hiding in the ink, and I find that Splat Bombs can be bounced just off the tower to make opponents scatter at your feet. My preferred weapons are the Splattershot Pro and Forge Splattershot Pro (hence SPlat Bombs and Point Sensor recommendations)

This looks like Sheldon will have to manufacture a LOT more Charger weapons...

@OneBagTravel No, I haven't seen anyone else with a Power Mask (amiibo), Squidforce Tee (squidforce) or Blue Hi-Tops (Rockenburg)...

Why does Ninja Squid speed need lowering? If you have chosen this as your ABILITY, surely there should only be positives, not negatives? It's not like all abilities have negatives, just Ninja Squid (and stealth jump). Nonetheless, I'll still love this game

@rjejr RG comes with Ink Mine and Inkstrike, but MG has seeker and Inkzooka. Yeah, the inkstrike probably is the best special, but I think the versatility that the Seeker gives you in conjunction to the main and Inkzooka outweighs the slight disadvantage the 'zooka has to the inkstrike. Only my opinion though!

Those old Octopi - you can't keep an Inkling like me from getting the game!

I know this song is annoying, but the have to have an interesting marketing strategy. After all, compared to other shooters, this is a whole new kettle of.... squid??

I swear that Nintendo were considering allowing some games to have two Gamepads??? I think I read it in a magazine. If it does happen (two Gamepads) the quality of the graphics and speed may be compromised, though nonetheless it would be worth giving it a go.

It was great that they managed to get the servers up and running again, but this actually has me a little worried. Is it going to be like this in the proper game? I certainly hope not, but I can't be certain...

@devilwaffle that sounds awesome! Perhaps using amiibo in splatoon to unlock arenas sounds awesome, or certain amiibos can add different obstac;es in Mario Maker. I'm probably specualating stuff that won't happen, but the idea is cool!

The Inklings look cool, definitely, but what about Mii characters? Even if its only your Mii's face on an inkling, that would be a great edition. Nonetheless, I had wanted to get this since I read about it on msn back in august, and still do.
