Re: Review: Mutant Year Zero: Road To Eden - A Fantastic XCOM-Style Tactical RPG From Former Hitman Developers

I double dipped as I didn't get to finish this on PC. The game is awesome in terms of story, gameplay, and atmosphere! But I have to admit that the graphics are a real bummer. I guess it's because they tried to keep as many objects in the world as possible. On the other hand, I stopped playing Fire Emblem and can't stop playing this instead. Even if it sometimes looks like a pixel mess.

@PolarExperience Yeah, you could go with that description but I might add, that I'll double dip because this one has amazingly good narratives and a tiny bit more interaction/gameplay then only walking through beautiful sceneries. In short: it's an outstanding experience. But that's, of course, personal taste/opinion.

Re: Review: Horizon Chase Turbo - A Worthy Successor To Sega's Out Run

To all the "its a mobile game" guys: I played the mobile version like a madman - you know: that one without Turbo innit's name. And then I dropped it to play the Turbo version on Windows. HCT is a completely different game from the mobile one. At least for me. It's not just a few new modes, it's better handling more control more true arcade racing feel. You have to play both to get my point but $19.99 for this game is a very good price.

Re: Review: Dead Cells (Switch)

I have more than enough games to play. For example, I’m in love with Hand of Fate 2, stoked by the sheer craziness of Pool Panic, immersed into the vast world of Octopath Traveler but this name- and mouthless little sucker is constantly getting in the way of everything since the preload unlocked....

This one took me by surprise. I mean I'm currently knee deep into Octopath but then this came out, intrigued me, forced me to buy it and fast forward three hours and I'm still playing it... this is a really nice little gem.

This was a ”Day One” purchase for me and I have to say that I’m very very very impressed how well they ported this game to the Switch. Controls are great, gameplay is what it should be (and what one expects) but the biggest surprise for me was how stunning this looks and performs on the Switch hardware! It's actually exactly like on the screenshots - and I thought they where made with the desktop version....

Re: The Dream Of Crowdfunded Switch Dock SFANS Has Turned Into A Nightmare

I supported more than 110 projects on Kickstarter and the likes. The most common trouble are delays in the reach of more than six months. Other than that I had 3 foul players (pebble being the greatest, damn fitibit....) Crowdfunding is a dangerous thing but for me, it was mostly rewarding so far. Now let's talk again when Pelda Pro arrives.
