Horizon Chase Turbo Could Be Speeding Towards Nintendo Switch

Day one for me. Not only I was a huge Lotus Esprit / Top Gear trilogy fan on Amiga / SNES respectively, the music by Barry Leitch seals the deal for me.

Great news, would love this on Switch! Just wish it wasn't taking second priority behind PS4 and PC as the Switch is just such a perfect fit for it.

I love Outrun so I may get Horizon Chase Turbo. I guess I will just get on PS4 though, I won't wait for it to be released on Switch.

@smyr You're welcome. Took me about an hour to actually find a clip with just engine noises, and all I got for my trouble is that low resolution video. I almost didn't post it, but I hate playing those kind of games with music alone. Love me some engine noises...

For as cool as this looks I hate the fact it is coming from a smartphone. There’s just this stigma that I attach... maybe the wealth and quality of most of these ports will help me shake that feeling over time. Otherwise this does indeed look cool!

No online - has me interested - same as the flight one earlier - as soon as I read online it worries me that no or little attention has been paid to single player which is An on going trend that has infected video games.

The more games that concentrate on a good single player engine and then perhaps add multiplayer later - the better

Anyone remember the Beatle challenge game on the N64?? I loved that game and it didn’t do well at all! Ha that and the top gear games on n64 took up a lot of my time at Uni

80s Overdrive is it. And I love it!! It’s a perfect fit on the 3DS. If you love old school arcade racers, do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Oh, I love Horizon Chase on Phone and AppleTV. Reminds me of those old Lotus days on Amiga.

Even if it‘s a mobile game, it is high quality, great music, good game mechanics, and no P2W.

I've just bought a PS4. I'd like to have this game both on PS4 and on Switch. I don't play mobile games but I tried this on Android and it is great!

Man. This looks so awesome! I'm such a little 80's nerd, and this reminds me so much of my childhood, and the arcade & grill I'd go to with my dad. Oh... the brown walls, ashtrays and smell of fries. I really haven't played anything like this since the Amiga 500...except in Yakuza 0

Looks neat, cool to see it has 4 player split screen too. Hopefully it's reasonably priced may pick this up.

Looks good. I thought it was going to be like Race The Sun, but with cars, but, still looks like fun.

Disappointed it’s not being released first on Switch but I guess that means we’ll find out if it’s worth a purchase well beforehand.

I put in a TON of time with this game on my iPad with a controller last summer. If you enjoy Outrun this is a must buy! Super high quality game and lots of content.

I'm really torn. I do not trust mobile-originated games to be high quality, but I really want a new racer. It doesn't have to be mad technical, I'd be happy with a Hot Pursuit clone. But mobile racers always seem to be a bit cheesy, at least the ones I've played.

This is an exceptional game. I got it for $3 on my iPad and I felt like I stole it. It's the closest thing to a Top Gear sequel I could have hoped for.

Great to finally see a release date on this. I cannot wait. Hopefully they wont be too long in bringing it to the switch.

@JasmineDragon It's an arcade racer, if that's not your thing dont buy it, it's origin is irrelevant.
