I agree with that - they are a bit hidden at the moment.

The Miis are an option in Switch Sport Resort - they are in the volleyball demo in the direct, so I’m not sure why everyone is complaining 😀😀 at first I was disappointed with the new avatars but I’ll probably end up loving them when I see the customisation options!

@KayFiOS I love it when things like that happen. I remember back in the day I wanted Mario Kart Wii but everywhere was sold out. I was in an HMV and asked them if they had it, they said no. I wandered around the store for a while and then the guy at the till came over to me and said they had just that moment had a delivery of Mario Kart Wii and did I still want it?! Good times 😀

In a way I feel like Nintendo have saved me some money. If this had included any performance upgrades I would have pre-ordered it without any hesitation. As I only use it docked there is nothing here for me 🙃

What about Mario Kart Ultimate? Taking the same ideas from Smash and maybe introducing non Nintendo characters? Although that would be problematic for characters like Sonic I suppose!

I think you are right that Sonic 3 was the only game with a save feature. I remember Road Rash II having a password system which acted like a save game

@Ganner I actually prefer it solo - I find it a bit confusing in multiplayer as sometimes I think I’m another player (especially if we are all cats!) then go to jump but accidentally die because I was actually a different character 😂😂 It is hilarious in multiplayer though for things like this but another problem can be if you all want to go in different directions and the game puts you into a bubble because you were trying to go somewhere else to collect a star or something like that

Surely Wii Sports Resort is in need of a refresh/remaster?

I played through 3D world before on the Wii U but so glad I doubled dipped as I seem to have forgotten so much of it!! Is anyone else finding the Amiibo recognition a bit wonky?

@anoyonmus they are both quite different games. If you have lots of time to get into a game definitely go for Breath of the Wild. It is amazingly immersive - it took a little while for that to happen for me but it eventually ‘clicked’ - I completed the final boss and haven’t been back since but want to. I just haven’t found the right time to come back!

At the risk of sounding stupid, I am still not entirely sure what you do in the game? Is it a bit like Stardew Valley?

I can’t quite put my finger on why I dislike the mobile version so much - I guess it is because I want them to add more to Mario Kart 8 - it feels like they’ve forgotten that this game still exists.
