Amazingly I never played this originally - trying to decide if it is one you'd enjoy if you didn't play it back in the day

I keep going back and forth on this - I never played it on the Wii U but absolutely loved Super Mario 3D World (here's hoping they release that on the Switch!) - do you think I'll be disappointed that it isn't as good as Super Mario 3D World?

You can buy Sonic 3 & Knuckles on the Steam version of this so there must be a way around it! I’d be happy with alternative music if the music is really the issue.

That is a very good point! I do like the gamecube controllers but am not clear if any will support rumble and I think Smash is the sort of game where you need some rumble!!!!

Am I the only one that will be playing Smash using joy cons?

The steam version on PC is far superior - it has Ecco and most importantly - Sonic 3 and Knuckles and Mod support.

Does it support rumble?

Do any of the gamecube controllers coming out support rumble?

@LaytonPuzzle27 I believe this game gives you the option to pick which region you want to play - so I think you can choose Japanese in the menu

@BANJO I’d like to see comparisons between the two - I have the collection on Steam which also includes Sonic 3 & Knuckles

@nab1 I think it is going to confuse most people. Has anyone bought it and tried it yet? Does it seem like a vast improvement over previous versions?
