Nintendo has released Version 12.0.0 of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This update adds in Tekken's Kazuya as a paid DLC fighter. He comes with 39 music tracks and a brand new level.
There are also new Tekken-themed spirits and new Mii Outfits which can be purchased from the eShop. Last but not least are some game balance adjustments, fighter adjustments and fixes to improve the overall gameplay experience.

Note: You cannot make videos of replays that contain DLC you have not purchased (fighters, stages, music, Mii Fighter costumes, etc.).
- Game-balance adjustments have been made. Please see the details of fixes and changes to fighters.
- Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.

Thank God they added the Sophia and Arthur spirits. My collection was sitting incomplete for far too long
When Kazuya wins, the normal announcer doesn't say it, there's a different voice. What's with that?
@SkullDragr It's the Tekken announcer, as an extra reference to the series
@SkullDragr it's the original announcer from Tekken. A little nod more than anything.
I haven't downloaded him, is the normal announcer calling Kazuya on the Character Select Screen?

Lol, i'm just glad my boi got up tilt buffed when it was already good, same with down tilt. Dash attack is still too garbage to bother caring about the buff though.
So they decided to nerf mythra so hard that she doesn't even reference the original move in the game anymore. in Xenoblade 2 her neutral special ignores defenses so it made perfect sense for it to ignore weight especially since its pretty much her only kill option.
They finally buffed the miis!
Dude, the Miis don’t need buffs! They are so cheezy and annoying to fight... but now I kinda wanna pick them up again.
finally getting the Ghost'nGoblins/Person5S Spirits I'm also missing the spirits form the last event, hopefully they will come available soon.
btw, does anybody have an idea where I can stay informed on upcoming Smash Bros events so I don't miss new event spirits again?

@Ryan_Again Haha, what? The Miis are all three some of the worst characters in the game.
Can someone explain why these patches come out so late for people in the US? When they say it's releasing on say, June 29th, it's kind of annoying when it doesn't release until like 10 PM Eastern time.
@Giygas_95 because US isn't the centre of the world. In Europe we had to wait till the 30th and nobody cried. I'm happy about the world wide simultaneous releases.

Also, to your question about spirit events, Nintendo Life puts out articles about all of those here so you can just come here, and you'll see them when they're upcoming.
And I apologize if it came off like I was crying. I could probably have worded that a bit better. I don't want to get off on the wrong foot. I've been dealing with enough other stuff lately that I'd rather not piss off someone here.

I tried a few CPU fights with Kazuya just to get a feel for him. Against level 5, 3-0. Okay, fine, 5 isn't hard. Tried level 7, 3-0. All right, maybe I paid more attention to the Kazuya presentation than I thought? Tried against a level 9... 3-0. I usually beat level 9 CPUs but 3-0 with a character I've used twice? Kazuya seems... really good. I'll try him against friends soon.
