Re: Two Samus Figures Based On Metroid: Other M Are Making A Return In 2026

@Yoshi3 NGL, I feel like OOT is much worse than BOTW, and the Tutorial for TP made me not even start the game. I tried to use the horse but couldn’t figure out what I needed to do and noped out. OOT, while it seems like a good game, I think requires an original controller to play well, something I don’t have the budget to do. Not comparing 2d zeldas because 2d and 3d zelda are 2 completely different types of games.

I think they meant digital only? Because only the eshop seems like too low of an audience for a racing game when the platform has one of the best racing games ever exclusive to it (Based on my opinions and total sales of MK8). And when you consider what happened with the Saturn, yeah that makes sense.

@NFrealinkling Just saying that his info is not ENTIRELY incorrect, but he still probably got his info from one of the rage bait YouTubers (not saying they are all rage farming, just the one he probably got his info from).

@MrDocena Hey, I’m trying to support Nintendo myself, I’m just trying to stay as neutral as possible, and saying that while he may be horribly misinformed, that’s not wrong for everyone, and everyone doesn’t live in the US. In fact, since Nintendo (most likely) is shipping China manufactured Switch 2s to everyone but the US, more people may play the switch 2 in other places (such as the EU, which I meant instead of UK), meaning that they may pay 90 euros anyways. Also, MKW technically costs 50 (US/EU), so all ‘MKW is overpriced bc it costs 80$’ arguments are out of the window, but no one making that argument cares.

Re: Ubisoft's Switch 2 Physical Release Of Star Wars Outlaws Is A "Game-Key Card"

@vincentgoodwin Yeah, I kinda agree with you. I don’t understand why people are giving Nintendo themselves shade for doing a consumer friendly practice (forcing game manufacturers to let you know when a game is actually on cart or not), but I do think that people have a right to be mad about them (the idea of game-key carts, not the branding itself), since it takes away a big draw of physical games.

@johnedwin Can’t speak for you, but my local target has a decent aisle for Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox (they each have their own aisle in the electronic section), mostly filled with physical games, with a few digital codes for specific games. I don’t look for video game sections anywhere else, but I have a feeling that my local Walmart also has a similar scenario.

Re: Xbox Is Raising The Price Of Consoles, Accessories, And Games Worldwide

@Yoshi3 I’m not saying Nintendo is completely in the right, but I think that the only reason they made MKW $80 is to make the bundle seem better, to enhance early console sales. So it’s not an open world tax. Want any proof? Check out DKB. That’s their 3d Mario replacement, and it’s only $70. Nintendo stayed at $60 so long, and when they changed to $70 for ToTK, nobody blamed Sony or Microsoft, everybody just said ‘ok’. Now when Nintendo is charging $80 for ONE GAME that you can get officially for $50, everybody is mad at them. Yes, I am a Nintendo ‘fanboy’, but you’re a Sony/MS fanboy.

Re: How Do Nintendo Switch 2 Virtual Game Cards Work? - Game Transfer & Lending Guide

@Pa1nbow It is an exploit, since the feature is meant to allow people to play their games on multiple consoles. I don’t know if you know this, but Nintendo tries to kick you out of your game if you try to join on another system. You have to join multiple times before it allows you to play with another person. That’s exploiting how Nintendo is trying to be at least a LITTLE nice to you, in case you want to be offline.

Re: Xbox Is Raising The Price Of Consoles, Accessories, And Games Worldwide

I’m feeling kinda salty that as far as I can tell, nobody is complaining about Xbox or PS raising their price, but when Nintendo just releases a new console with a decent price for a PORTABLE CONSOLE with it’s specs, everyone yells at them, calling them greedy, when they’re on of the few companies (that I know of) that reduced executive salaries during hard times.

@Dfua82 @Dfua82 @antlion @Eduardotaz @Pa1nbow Well, think about it this way. If you buy a game, you buy a digital license of said game. You are paying for one copy of of that game (such as a physical copy). If you try to play 2 copies of that game (by playing it twice at the same time), then that is piracy. Yes, PS lets you do that, but as far as I can tell, that is only for YOUR account (source: my Uncle’s PS account on my PS5, while he has his own PS5). The ability to play online games together is an exploit. Anyone saying that you can find that in Nintendo FAQ, that is just the ability to play YOUR games on multiple devices. It is not to let you play one copy of your game online with a friend/family using the same license as you. People are just used to using an exploit, and when said exploit is patched, they are mad. And in case you think I don’t use this, I did. I used to play Splatoon 3 with my brother online with one license.
