Re: Pokémon GO is Now Available in the US

@earthboundlink so far from what I've noticed you really don't need to spend any money there are certain landmarks that will appear on the GPS of the app of the game that you can like tap or swipe and you can get more Pokeballs right now I'm up to like a hundred sixty two Pokeballs and it's fairly easy to catch the Pokemon. Of course that was before the servers crashed.

@VanillaLake this is true. But it can also be used to get kids out thearly house. Explain how the game works, if they already don't know, hand them the phone and say "Let's go for a walk". I'm going to do that with my son

Got this last night. My first pokemon was Bulbasaur, and there's 2 gyms by my house. One of them being at Taco Bell. And I can see a purpose in the Pokémon Go Plus device or else your going to be walking around constantly looking at your phone

Re: Splatoon's Last Splatfest is Next Month

luigifan624

Although I am sad to see the Splatfest be gone, I'm hoping there will another Splatoon on the NX. But also remember they said there would be no new weapons a while back, and look what happened. So maybe just maybe.

BTW Go Team Callie

Re: Mario Party Star Rush is Coming to 3DS on 4th November

luigifan624

Sooooo, let me see if I got this straight. Everyone will move at once so players don't have to wait their turn. Sounds like the car returns, which was a big hit NOT, but don't everyone have to wait their turn ALREADY to say roll the dice even if they are moving all at once. I'll pass unless the boards are way longer and this has ONLINE

Re: Talking Point: Sony's PlayStation VR Launch Adds Pressure to Nintendo's Holiday - and Perhaps NX - Plans

luigifan624

Hold on a sec. I'm over here scratching my head on this one, but isn't this why Nintendo caught so much criticism with the Wii, because it wasn't a "traditional controller" to play video games with. Nintendo tries something new or different, it's called a gimmick. Sony/Microsoft or any other company for that matter does the same thing, and is regarded as the greatest thing ever.

Re: Talking Point: The Allure of the Virtual Console and How Nintendo Can Harness It

luigifan624

I said it once, I've said it twice, I've said it a hundred times, and I'll continue to say it. Nintendo is sitting on a gold mine with the VC. The VC on the Wii is what really pushed me to want a Wii. Having the libraries from the consoles of the past and that "oh so lovely" untapped category that stares me in the face, as a kid that grew up with them and spent many a one hours in them, I'm talking about Arcade. Oh the possibilities. Just think of having some arcade goodness in your hands, Ala 4 player TMNT, TMNT:TIT, Simpsons, 6 player Xmen, etc etc. And the light gun games, House of the Dead, Carnevil, the Wii-mote is ideal for those. XBLA is a thing of the past now since MS has abandoned it, well time for Nintendo to harness it, I can't be alone in thinking that. A guy can dream right.

As for the WiiU VC, that's a joke, sadly. The entire Wii VC library should've been available from the start, with improvements coming in time. Adding the DS and Wii titles were going in the right direction, but what happened? Hardly anything is released anymore, and to this day STILL no GameCube VC. I think Nintendo just needs to have a division dedicated to the VC. The potential is there, I'd rather play retro games than 80% of games out on the market today. I don't have the time to hunt down old favorite titles, especially when something like the VC is just sitting there......waiting.

Re: Collectors Rejoice, Rare amiibo Figures Are Getting Restocked

luigifan624

I'm with everyone else when it comes to these "restocks". I'll believe it when I see it.

At this very moment I can go to 4 different Walmarts, 2 Targets, and 3 Gamestops and they all have the same: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Link. The most uncommon one that can be found now is Pacman. I got lucky about 2 months ago to stumbled upon Marth at Walmart, I grabbed 2, if anyone wants to trade/buy my extra one drop me a line.

I've seen Capt Falcon ONCE, and that was when amiibos first came out and never again. As for Lil Mac, Villager, I've never once seen on store shelves. So again I'll believe it when I see it.

Re: Nintendo Confirms September amiibo Release Details for North America

luigifan624

I think Im going to throw in the towel on the whole Amiibo thing. Especially after the Palutena and Dark Pit releases. I couldnt get them, because of having to work. My job requires me to be driving so I couldnt access Amazon for Palutena, and have to be at work by 830am, so I didnt have time to camp out at BestBuy. And Im sure theres no way that I will ever see those without paying the outrageous scalpers prices. And whos to say the same wont be said for future Amiibos. Its like after the first initial release theres never any restocking. Then theres the amiibos that I have NEVER seen at all, Lil Mac, Ness, Villager, Greninja and the list goes on. Heck I am still looking for the most recent releases, Wario, Charizard. So until Nintendo takes a page out of the SkyLanders book and have a massive stock on the shelves to combat the scalpers and limited release numbers.....Im done
