I kept wondering if Dandara could actually walk & run because of the trailers never showing her doing so. Admittedly, that kind of turns me off of this game, but if it ever gets a decent discount, I may try it out.
I just don't see the appeal of this game (although admittedly, I've never tried playing it). It looks mediocre at best from the trailer I've watched. However, I'm not too into sports or sports games (except for martial arts & extreme sports).
I pre-loaded XC2 a while back, but seeing as I'm not very far into Skyrim, it might be quite a while before I begin playing XC2. I'll also be downloading Syberia 2 & Nine Parchments. I have Star Ghost on Wii U, but may at somepoint get it on Switch. I sure wish both Trine games, Splintercell: Blacklist, the Batman Arkham games & NFS Most Wanted, would all come to Switch, too, because I'd like the option to be able to play them on the go. Not to mention DKC Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, Yoshi's Wooly World, Guacamelee, The Fall (part 1), The Swapper, Stealth Inc 2, Smash 4, Toki Tori 1 & 2, Steam World Dig, Steam World Heist, The Swindle, Child of Light, LoZ: WW HD, LoZ TP HD, & more.
I believe this was the first third party game that was available to pre-purchace. When I saw that on the eshop I wondered why the developers even bothered, because I can't imagine anyone actually would've taken advantage of that.
I feel the opposite of the reviewer. I prefer to play video game board games over real board games BECAUSE of the (usually) minor additions like animations. I would much rather play video games over board games any day. I just no longer have any desire to play real board games — I think their pretty boring now — unless they are made into a video game. I played one game of Monopoly on Switch so far, & I enjoyed it (even though the AI won). I would probably rate it a 6 or 7.
I love this game & will be buying it tomorrow for my Switch. I have it on Wii U but got stuck due to the game breaking bug, but after the patch I was still unable to progress, so I never beat it. (I guess I was supposed to delete my save file & start over, but I didn't want to have to repeat all of the progress I had made.)
@joey302 For whatever it's worth, I downloaded Earth Atlantis, & I think it's pretty fun. I like the overall atmosphere, the sketchy look, & the music is nice, too. Sure, it could use some improvements (such as the mini-map, the strange turning mechanic, & maybe make the areas that are passable stand out as compared to areas that you can't pass through) but overall, as far as fun factor goes, I'd rate it a 7 or 8.
And while I do enjoy the occasional shooter, they're not one of my favorite genres, So I rarely play them, let alone beat them. But for some reason, I intend (& have the desire) to play this game through to completion.
@fullyilly I've had my eye on this game since it was revealed. I live in the US, so don't know too much about British history other than as it pertains to America, so Wulverblade has my curiosity piqued, as I like history. It also looks like a great game to play, with some awesome sound effects & music (judging by the trailer).
Not interested. The co-op description reminds me of Affordable Space Adventures, though (which I thought was fun in solo play — the opposite of what this one sounds like).
I downloaded it when it released, & I think it's pretty fun. I've only played easy mode, though, & completed it with the wizard (the easiest one to use, imo). I've tried all 4 characters (+ the bonus character that unlocks for the mansion levels), but they seem to be more difficult beat the game with.
I'm looking forward to (some of these were not shown):
Wulverblade, Nine Parchments, Earth Atlantis, Mulaka, Descent, War Groove, Steam World Dig 2, Aces of the Luftwaffe, Owl Boy, Hollow Knight, Battle Chasers Nightwar, Redout, The Fall Part 2, Shakedown Hawaii, Syberia 1/2/3, Axiom Verge, Constructor Plus, Gear.Club Unlimited, Chess Ultra, Flipping Death, Monster Boy & the Cursed Kingdom, Rive, Rime, Celeste, 8-Bit Armies, Unepic, & many more to come.
I downloaded this game 2 or 3 days ago. I agree with the review score. The game has promise, but just fell short. The controls are fairly cumbersome. The voice acting & story are decent enough. The graphics are sub-par, but passable. The frame rate occasionally stutters. When climbing (especially with Troll), it gets a little frustrating at times because of how slow the characters move. Overall, it is beginning to get a little tiring & repetetive. Not sure if I'll end up finishing it, or not. The fact that autosave points are not more frequent means that when you die, you may have to restart too far back that you might not feel like trudging back through cumbersome areas — at least that's how I feel.
So, overall, I would also rate this game 4/10. While I do find it somewhat enjoyable despite its flaws, it is beginning to wear on me. To sum it up in one word (I used it a couple of times already) — cumbersome.
@Al_Godoy I died a LOT fighting that brain monster on the hardest difficulty setting, but each time I experimented with different tactics, & eventually figured out that a certain spell worked VERY well against him (I think it was one that generated coins, or something like that), & I got to the point where he became very easy.

Needs a lot of improvement before I'd consider purchasing.

@beazlen1 The Swapper is an excellent game. I'd like to see that & a sequel come to Switch.

Not interested in this game, or the Red Game, in the slightest.
Re: Review: Ittle Dew 2+ (Switch)
I have the first one on Wii U, & while entertaining, I quickly got bored with it & never finished it. I'm not too keen on the art style.

Re: Review: Sparkle 2 EVO (Switch eShop)
I disagree with the reviewer about this game not being relaxing. I find it quite relaxing. I think it's fun in short bursts.
Re: Review: Sparkle 2 EVO (Switch eShop)
@MeloMan I used to have that game. It was rather enjoyable.
Re: Transcripted Is Coming to the Switch eShop Soon
Looks good, but it's not my type of game.

Elliot Quest & Syberia for me. Also interested in The Count Lucanor & Revenant Saga, but may wait on reviews for those.

This game was great on Wii U. I'll definitely double dip on this one.

Bought the first one on Wii U. It was ok, but nothing memorable. Never finished it, either. So I'll pass on the collection.

That score seems a little generous.
Re: Over The Moon Gives a Gameplay and Project Update on The Fall Part 2: Unbound
@Bunkerneath Agreed. Regardless, I'll be downloading this on day 1.
Re: Review: Physical Contact: Picture Place (Switch eShop)
It's starting to sound like this developer is the RC MADIAX of Switch.

I'm not into runners, but since it's free I guess I'll pick up Runner 2.

Re: Guide: A Simple Fix for a Game Breaking Bug in Troll and I on Switch
@DickeyWord I don't know the answer to that, but I put mine in sleep mode all the time. I think I've only completely powered down 3 times, maybe.
