Excited to see what they make! Galaxy was a bold move for the franchise and ended up being one of the best games in it, so I can't wait to see how this new title turns out.
I would personally like BotW to take place at the very end of the timeline, as a way to "start over" without worrying too much about how stuff connects to games that come before and after it chronologically. Also, this Link can't be the Hero of Time because he's right-handed (something that really bothers me)
So, they're gonna stream Zelda U for an entire day? Do they plan to spoil the first half of the game or...? That's what I'm worried about and I might not watch the stream for that reason, instead I'll just keep checking Nintendo Life and other sites for info that's not spoilery.
I'm super excited for this game even though I thought Sticker Star was meh, simply because I love Paper Mario. Wish they'd go back to the series roots and bring partners back and the good ol' battle system.
If it's not something you're supposed to do in the game, I consider it cheating. But apparently the advantages it gives are minimal so I don't really care if people choose to do it. Like someone mentioned, patching it would take a lot of time and it's probably not gonna happen, sadly.
There's already the three DKC games, Super Mario Kart and Super Mario World, so I'm good. Wish they'd release the SNES version of Yoshi's Island, though (since it's superior to the GBA version). I wouldn't be disappointed at all if they turned their focus to N64 titles, and GameCube ones in the future.
@Wii-1 I did play it for a little bit years ago, and what I saw didn't really hook me - I thought the controls were awkward. As for the graphics, you don't need to play a game to form an opinion on its appearance.
As I said, I am going to give it a second chance. It was too revolutionary of a game for me to just skip.
@liveswired @Wii-1 @andreoni79
Look at how many people got angry just because I said I thought Super Mario 64 looks ugly.
I'm from early SNES era and just chose to skip Mario 64 for whatever reason. Yet just because I don't kiss that game's feet, you assume I'm much younger.
There is no right or wrong here, it's my opinion that the graphics didn't age well. You can think whatever you want. I never denied it was a revolutionary game and that it changed the industry.
Doesn't change the fact that, by today's standards, the game is not THAT good. You guys need to either take your nostalgia glasses off, or try not to get your jimmies do ruffled when someone you don't know simply says the graphics of the game aren't amazing.
@Deanster101
To be honest, I think the earlier Marios aged better exactly because they're pixels. Mario 64 is blocky and the texture are quite ugly. But that's just MY OPINION (gotta stress that because people seem to miss that). I said I don't think the game is perfect and look at how many people jumped at my neck. This is a bit sad.
But yeah, I'll definitely give it another shot. I've downloaded it on my Wii U when it was announced. It was such an important game, I need to play it at some point in my life.
@andreoni79 The first Mario doesn't look that good either. And I'm not sure what your point is. It's undeniable that Mario 64 hasn't aged well graphically, and I don't know why people get so defensive over it.
Saying this game still looks is a bit of an exaggeration. The reason I've never played this game pat the first 3 or so stars is because the graphics are terrible. The textures are ugly, the color choices are ugly. And from what I remember, the controls weren't that great either. It was a revolutionary game, yes. But it's far from being a 10/10 by today's standards, imho.
Since I didn't expect Nintendo to release the standard N3DS in America any time soon, I just got myself a 2DS, and I'm loving it. Of course I'd love Nintendo to announce if/when the standard N3DS is coming, but at this point I'm just happy I got a 2DS.
I'm super excited for the Hyrule Warriors DLC pack, Majora's Mask 3D and the amiibo mode in Mario Party 10, but them not bringing the small N3DS to the US for no good reason really killed my joy.
@Fededx Oh man, I loved Super Circuit back in the day. I played it nonstop! I still play it today once in a while, but the controls are much worse than I remembered.
@WiiUSucks Your trolling is obvious. But yeah, I've been around since Super Mario Kart, and I'm sure many others who voted for MK8 have, too. The difference is that we don't let our nostalgia blind us.
I loving hate Game Theory. All their theories are stupid (Link is dead, Peach is dead, and Rosalina is Peach's daughter?) and unnecessarily controversial. They just want the attention and to ruin people's childhood in the process. Please watch the profanity — TBD
I really hope they add Nabooru as a playable character at some point!
As for Cia's boobs, there are body types like that in real life, though rare. But you can't deny that her design isn't too tasteful, or that it doesn't fit into well in the Zelda universe, for some reason.
It sucks that their dreams got crushed but as some people said, games like those can't be blockbusters, and the eShop should be a place fore more robust games, with more time, thought and money put into them.
Pre-ordered! And believe it or not, the Mercedes Benz karts are really good!
Also, really, why the hell are people complaining about the DLC's price? Four new cups, four new characters, five new vehicles for $11.99. That's a great price.
Hard to decide between Super Mario World and Super Mario Galaxy. I ended up voting for the latter as it was unique, had amazing graphics, and it was crazy fun to play. SMW will forever keep a special place in my heart as my first Mario game, though, and I've finished it a bunch of times.
They have nice skills with colored pencils but they're honestly doing themselves a disfavor if they only copy official artworks instead of trying to come up with something from their imagination.

Re: E3 2016: New Kind Of Mario Game Is Coming, Says Shigeru Miyamoto
Excited to see what they make! Galaxy was a bold move for the franchise and ended up being one of the best games in it, so I can't wait to see how this new title turns out.
Re: E3 2016: Check Out the Paper Mario: Color Splash E3 Trailer
Meh, it's no a TTYD but it should be fun anyway. The graphics look really good, at least. I'll be getting it.

Re: Nintendo's Gold Coin Prices Point the Way to Freebies
Too bad it's only digital downloads. I basically never buy digital copies of games.
Re: Rumour: New Nintendo NX Controller Images Surface and Set the Web Alight
I need buttons, goddamnit >:C Also, oval screen? No thanks. It looks really uncomfortable to hold, too. Still hoping this is fake.

Re: Preview: Unraveling the Truth in Yoshi's Woolly World
I was so happy when I heard the game is actually hard! At first I thought it would be like Epic Yarn, where you couldn't even die.

Re: Clear Display Cases Show Off amiibo in Style
They're almost the price of the amiibo itself. I see no point in getting one, to be honest.
@Icarus423
That would be pretty cool, actually. Of course, it would still depend on the price.
Re: Review: Super Mario 64 (Wii U eShop / Nintendo 64)
@andreoni79 None of us are wearing nostalgia glasses, so I guess in this case we should agree to disagree.
Also, Paper Mario is awesome. The graphics aren't that hot but man is that game great.

Can't update the firmware and can't use online features. This is far from true region-free, honestly.
Re: Mario Party 10 Official Website Prompts Speculation of Three New Super Mario amiibo Figures
I'm so excited to get the Rosalina one. I wonder if she'll manage to look even better than her Smash version.
I really hope they make a Daisy amiibo though She's my favorite.

Where the "Would buy the standard white one but I'm in America so I'll just sit in the corner an cry" option?

I love all of them, and the nostalgia is strong with MK64. But MK8 is definitely the best one!
Re: Parent Trap: The Eyes Have It, Why amiibo Detail Matters
While they are very nice figures, I'm still bummed over the drop in quality from the prototypes. I'd be willing to pay for for higher quality figures.

lol People complaining about DLCs. Don't freaking buy it if you don't like it.
Also, not sure why people don't just wait for everything to be officially announce, instead of posting leaks and making Nintendo mad.
