Re: Don't Buy Another Switch Dock Just Yet

@Ballzilla how is this disappointing and feeding trolls?
What, a story that does not fit in to your world view that Nintendo is an untouchable, angelic and squeaky clean company not sit right with you?

What I hated about the Wii, was how games had pointless waggle, when conventional control would have been better.
I think this could happen again.
HD rumble is a gimmick that will be used well in first party games, but implemented badly in third party games.
We've been joy conned.

Re: Talking Point: Handheld or Console? - With Nintendo Switch, Does it Matter?

@SLIGEACH_EIRE totally agree. If Nintendo had pitched this as a powerful handheld, but with the beauty of hooking it up to a TV, I think a lot of negativity (including mine) would not be necessary.
Instead, they openly promote it as a home console and will suffer with lack of third party support, because it's an underpowered home console.

Re: Poll: A Week On, How Do You Feel About the Nintendo Switch?

Mr or Mrs average Joe, goes in to a game store past March 3rd, looking to buy a console.
They look at PS4, it's price, bundles, game library, peripherals. Shop assistant tells them about it's online functions, media capabilities, Blu ray player, PS plus, Playstation now and VR.
They do the same with Xbox, minus VR and now, but is backwards compatible with over 300 360 games and growing.
Now to Switch, higher price, no bundle, smaller library of games, peripherals are high in price. Assistant explains its not backwards compatible, no media functions, there is virtual console and its also portable.
Being subjective, what are the better options for them?
And remember Switch isn't a time machine, it's competing now, not at prices 3 years ago.
Nintendo said they listended, to who? Uberfanboy82 on a forum, who would lap up and defend anything Nintendo do.

Re: Video: Let's Weigh Up the Good & Bad Things About the Nintendo Switch

I recently picked up an Xbox one S, with the Divison, Gears 4 (plus Gears 1-3 and judgement) and minecraft, for £210
If I was an impartial buyer, looking to buy a console ( with the knowledge that one has all the 'big' games, media capabilities etc), I know which one looks the more tempting.
Fanboys can grumble all they like, but it's the average person on the street that Nintendo need to convince. Honesty, I don't think Switch can do that.
