Nintendo being Nintendo, they will do something with their online service that makes people say, only Nintendo would do that! For good or bad.

Game doesn't come to Switch. Who cares, terrible game/company, we don't need it, blah blah blah.

@Kosmo you want a console that remains a step behind the competition? You got it.

You want over priced peripherals? You got it.

You want an online service, with a free game structure, thats nothing more than a monthly rom rental? You got it.

You want a game that will be almost six years old, when it comes to Switch, with no confirmation of mod support? You got it.

You want a company that continues to chase the ghost of a console that was a fluke, and it's success will never be repeated? You got it.

You want the opportunity to buy your games, possibly for a third time? You got it.

As long as Nintendo hardware remains underpowered, compared to MS and Sony, fanboys will say specs don't matter.

@NintyNate you no longer want a game, because it's coming to other consoles.

My friend never divulges info, for obvious reasons. What they did say was they have never seen a dev kit or knows it's spec (would probably not tell me anyway) but said the small team was due to waiting to see how well NX performed.

A friend of mine works for ubisoft, and when I was quizzing them about NX, they knew nothing of it and said only a small team have been working on games.
Take from that what you will.

I remember taking the train to work one day and pulling out my 3DS to keep me entertained.
A child, no more than 2 saw this, and started shouting Mario, Mario.
No other other gaming company has this kind of cultural impact. Mario is the face of gaming, just because he is so recognisable.
Many who will play this may never own a Nintendo console, but because he is so engrained in our culture, they instantly associate him with gaming (and fun)
Nintendo would be idiots for not tapping in to this resource and only blinkered, idiotic fanboys would deny this.
This is not the death of Nintendo, or a sign of them watering down their games. It's a very good business plan, which will make them a fortune and therefore enable them to continue to remain relevant, and may also increase interest and sales of NX.

On a side note, I think it's a "timed exclusive" on iOS and will possibly hit Android in the next few months.

It amuses me when people are saying this is killing their hype for NX.
These are rumours, don't read the articles.
Has the internet really eroded peoples ability to be patient or differentiate between theory, rumour and truth?

I'm an old fart and can remember playing Ghosts and Goblins at the arcade and on the C64
I couldn't beat it then and I couldn't beat this now.
It's a condition I've learned to live with.

For all its faults and the dire way Nintendo promoted the thing, the Wii U has actually been my favourite console this gen.
My PS4 is pretty much my Netflix/Blu-ray and Spotify machine, now that I'm done with Bloodborne and DS3

Never played Sticker star, so I'm actually looking forward to playing this.

So some are you thinking he's doing this to promote Horizon, by complimenting a game on a rival console.

Read the review, take in the information, make a balanced decision on that information, or wait until more is available to help you decide.
