Played it on the GBA back in the day. IIRC there wasn't a way to grind characters outside of story missions so I ended up at the final stage which required the lords to fight and mine were at like level 5 so I had to start over. Great game though.
I was pretty bummed to see the tree branch break after a few hits and thought "great...no durability improvements", but the fuse ability seems like an excellent way to improve it without just getting rid of it.
"Employer offers full-time employees part time jobs." Nothing special here, especially if they are still expected to produce a full-time amount of work, which is possibly the case here. Also everyone deserves a more flexible work-life balance, not just parents. I'm a parent working in healthcare and I'm fortunate enough to work 4 10-hour shifts per week, it's so much better. I want to see more employers offering that as well.
@antdickens It's a parody of the sadly common belief that homosexuality is caused by anything unnatural. It seems inappropriate because the conspiracy theory that it mocks certainly is.
@Zag_Man Yep. When the average person can easily get loans for college now, they have to do something else to weed out the poors. Unpaid long-term internships it is!
@Octane Oh I know the vaccine is effective. I'm fully vaccinated and got the Delta strain and it was like a typical cold with no lung involvement (while an unvaccinated family member had a much tougher time) so I absolutely recommend getting it. But the virus itself spreads too easily to just disappear. It'll surge again after every shutdown.
I only pay $60 for games I can resell for $30-40. Nintendo's pricing makes that possible. For playstation games, I just won't buy them until 6 months after release and they'll be $20-30. That's why I prefer physical. I would NEVER pay $60 for a digital game.
I think they were planning on releasing an updated model Q4 2020 or early this year until the shutdowns boosted sales. Now they're probably holding off till next year when sales will need another boost.
1. Stock values represent investor habits and hardly correlate (sometimes contradicting actually) with scientific advancements. 2. I am all for a suitable vaccine, but given the low accuracy of the antibody testing thus far I don't have much faith in a rushed vaccine for COVID. Vaccines aren't typically effective against pathogens that mutate quickly within populations, hence why the influenza vaccine must be constantly updated and still has a rather low effective rate.
Packaging no longer sells products thanks to the internet. We read reviews and compare prices. Stores will give new products a brief spotlight but it's up to that product's quality to keep sales going. The only other thing you can offer is discounts. Welcome to the new retail world. You're not "selling your soul". You're marketing.
I'm getting it mostly to play Sunshine again. My 8yo recently got a switch lite for her birthday and has become enthralled with the Spyro trilogy so she'll like this too. So overall I'll get my money's worth.
They should include a "time machine" feature similar to the dream suite where you can visit holiday events that have already passed or maybe will occur in the next 24 hours. I mean really, I shouldn't have to break out my switch as the ball drops on New Year's just to fully enjoy every holiday in the game.
