Re: What Happens If You Mix Zelda And Bloodborne? Hunt The Night Hopes To Find Out On Switch

I do think that some pixelated 16-bit inspired modern games look nice. But I'm so, SO tired of that aesthetic. Not everything has to be pixels anymore. Look at something like GRIS, for instance, which has a very simple play style but uses gorgeous 2D graphics to it's benefit. I'm just tired of the apparently easy route that doing whatever in 16-bit is automatically artistic or hip or nostalgic, because it just feels lazy to me

@Balta666 yeah, I heard that a lot of Portuguese play Pokémon Go in English because of that. Nintendo did stop having official representation a while ago (2015 I think), but the 3DS eShop never stopped working here with local currency, and now there's an official Switch eShop too (it's a little weird though, you have to buy on the website), so they "stopped", but they haven't. They were here promoting Smash and Let's Go in the latest Brazil Game Show for instance.

Re: Pokémon GO Introduces Player vs Player Battles This Month, All Details Revealed

@Kit it's actually the two standard gym and raid moves (a fast attack and a charge attak), plus a second charge attack and the Protect shield (with a limited usage, kind of like a low PP).
So, that's a total of 4 moves if you consider all Pokémon have Protect as a move, which is almost always possible. I'd say it's pretty close to the spirit of main game even though it's obviously a different mechanic.

Re: "Realistic Pokémon" Artist Landed Detective Pikachu Movie Job After Being Discovered On Google

I thinks he makes some creative choices in going very "bio-realistic" and dismissing the supernatural/magical aspects (specially glaring in his Ghost Pokémon design), and great that he got a job in the design team, but yeah, I'd have hated if the movie just went with what he does. We're in a middle ground that I'm still getting used to (TRIM DOWN PIKACHU'S FUR, GUYS), but definitely better than his designs.

Re: Pokémon GO Players Have Apparently Spent $2 Billion To Catch 'Em All

well now I understand why for the first time ever they officially translated an entire Pokémon game other than the TCG specifically for Brazilian Portuguese (even though the official Portuguese channel is still in European Portuguese which makes zero sense for announcements and contradicts the game)

Re: Brazilian Ratings Board Suggests THQ Nordic Is Bringing Three New Games To Switch

@CaPPa yeah, I actually just regularly change my Nintendo Account country and buy from whichever eSHop is cheaper. But considering tax rates, Brazil's eShop is regularly four or five dollars cheaper than enywhere else (but, as I said, first-party only).
There is actually a multilanguage Brazilian site that keeps track of all the prices and tells where it's cheaper for every game: http://savecoins.app

Brazilian here, and this is super weird. Switch's Brazilian eShop only launched during this year's E3, and right now there are only digital first-party titles avaliable, and only if you buy through their site and then insert a code in the Switch (you can check it out for yourselves if you're not logged in a Nintendo Account at http://loja.nintendo.com.br ). Until recently, we couldn't even buy BotW DLC on it! Does that mean our eShop will expand to include other titles? This is the most exciting part for me
